My H claims to have come out on the other side of the fog and for the most part I believe him, but I worry about him falling back into it. About a week ago when I obviously had concerns about H continuing with OW, H asked me if I though it would be helpful for US and the OW and her H, to meet and get it all out in the open. I had a brief image of me reaching across the and clawing out the eyes of the OW. I told H that meeting with them probably wouldn't be helpful but him writing a letter to OW for me to approve and have delivered by someone I trusted, telling her how over it was for him might help me.
Now, it hasn't come up again...Do I bring it up again? Those of you with some "letter" experience, did this help you to "get over" what was done to you?
G.

A token of sincerity? Perhaps, some have went so far as to draft the letter, read it aloud, and then trash it. Others have delivered it themselves, kind of a in your face type deal. What you need to focus on is what is between you and your spouse. If you have forgiven your H then you need to try to move on with him. If these 'vices' help then it is by far within the scope to request it. What I'm saying is, if you think it will help then go for it. Remember, the major healing won't involve OW, just the two of you.
Good Luck and God Bless
------------------
1Co:2:4: And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co:2:5: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
