Hi
Well I went to the orthopedic surgeon and guess what... I am going to have a stress test on my ankle next week if it has healed enough to do it - then surgery. Never had surgery before, okay I lied... I've had oral surgery and 4 kids naturally, other than that - never had surgery. He wants to do one foot at a time.
The maintenance crew and assistive technology at the college are wonderful! They rounded up an electric cart so I can get around the campus. An administrator gave me front row parking. And my husband (big deposit for this one) bought me an office chair on wheels so I can roll around the kitchen without dumping my coffee all over the place. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
It hasn't snowed for a week and 4 days! Isn't that WONDERFUL! Geesh. about time spring came!
I am planning on a trip to California on the 17th (thank God for wheel chairs in airports?) so I will get to see my sons! Then to Scottsdale for a conference - and I will present at a national conference!
This VISTA job has been a lot of hours, and a lot of stress - I like the job - and hopefully the college will offer me a permanent position as a director when it is finished in August. I'm praying about my career, so I'm sure I will head in the direction the Lord wants.
We are getting along really well. Let me tell you, there is life after infidelity. The marriage definitely is not the same, it never will be. But, we have something very satisfying - we are more patient, we truly have friendship, we have respect, we have a commitment - and a future. I've learned so much here.
God Bless us All!
TnT

TNT,
It's just me, SP, and I'm "Still kickin'", remember?
I am so happy that your marriage is so much better. I was really worried about you for a long while.
My marriage is better, too, even though H still isn't being honest with me and still doesn't get it about stuff. He started going to CW's restaurant again, but since our last blowup, he hasn't been up there as far as I know...BUT, he's started going to the bar again without me. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif) I'll have to address that soon, as that's a place where he could run into CW. I can tell when he's been around her, even though I don't think there's anything going on anymore....his whole attitude changes. Sort of like going into withdrawal, I guess. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)
But, on the whole, he's being much sweeter to me.
I'm glad that your job is so satisfying, and I do hope that it works out into being a successful career.
Enjoy your visit with your sons. I hope that your ankle heals well, and that your surgery is successful.
I wish only the best for you.
Lady Clueless (I'm really not clueless [I think], but since I'm married to Lord Clueless, I figure that it's a pretty good name for me. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)

[This message has been edited by Lady Clueless (edited May 04, 2001).]

Well, Poopiehead,
...continued healing...
...and sending big ol' happy thoughts as you navigate the airport in a wheelchair (tell me it isn't LAX)...
You sound good, considering the pain ... and that makes me very happy!! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
I am so happy your marriage is healing too!! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)

Maezy - you are welcome!
SEF - you are welcome too! I have began to post to a couple of new people, but as you can see by the sunglasses I need to make sure that I don't get re-addicted to MB again. Remember when times get tough "on the goal on the goal on the goal".
Lady clueless - CW is not a threat to you, I don't think. It is his dishonesty that is what I think is your biggest challenge. You can't make him honest! Or can you? Haha
How is your son doing? How about the grandkids?
new beginning - Ontario, not LAX!!! Whew! I had to fly out of LAX last year.... WHAT A NIGHTMARE! 8 hour delays... NEVER AGAIN IF I CAN HELP IT!!!
sing - Thanks for thinking about me! That must have been one ordeal with 12 bags at the airport. Geesh!
~~~We went to Karaoke last night. The first song husband sang was Kinney Rogers "Buy me a rose"... ~~~ ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) There IS life after infidelity.... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
HI TNT!!!!!!!!!
How I have missed you my dear. Send me an e-mail abt your ankles and upcoming surgery....I must have missed something (big surprise huh? ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif) ). I did not know you were having health issues. How is the new house?
And so glad to hear the career is going so well!!!
I flew into Orange Cnty airport last week and it was rather nice after having experienced that dang lax the past few times i have gone to SoCal. Saw my h for a very short time. I must say he is remarkably wonderful lately! He is in love....and it really shows. The question is... am I?
Seeing the kids?
SK, SP, or Clueless, if you dont stop changing your name, we are going to brand you! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif) Is CW a real threat to your marriage SK/SP/LC? Or is she just a pain in the rear? I have a few of those in my life to, and sometimes I thought h changed after seeing them. But in reality, some of it was me getting an attitude then his reaction to it. Just a thought for you on this fine saturday.
Miss you ladies!!!
aloha, cl
TNT and CL,
I don't think that CW is trying to start anything back up with H...may not even be interested. She supposedly has a new boyfriend who is heavily into motorcycles, so I guess she's on the road to becoming a "Motorcycle Mama". ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif)
Actually, I think she probably wrote H off when he stopped whatever was going on with them, although she may think it's OK to just be friends.
No, the problem is that I do believe that my H felt thatt he was in love with her, and probably still has strong feelings for her. Like I said, whenever he's been around her, his attitude toward me starts changing for the worst.
He still doesn't see anything wrong with their being "friends". ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)
This last spell of finding out that he had started going back up to her business has just about did me in. I wasn't so much hurt this time as angry at the disrespect toward me and a general feeling of just plain ol' being fed UP with the whole thing.
Then, the last time we went to our weekend place, he started trying to pick a fight, and he got one! Oh, we made up, as usual, but I feel that he is "protecting" CW from me. He is still defensive & still "cold" sometimes, although he IS trying to be a better husband...more affectionate, nicer, tells me he loves me, etc...I guess ANYTHING to keep from having to tell me the d*** truth!
Oh, I know he loves me....but I can't get past the feeling that he is in love with CW and probably still is. Sometimes, he acts like he's some kind of martyr or something. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)
Gotta get off this thing before I work myself into a blue funk.
Take care of yourselves.
LC
NB - Last year I bought tickets to fly through Burbank (Nice and small not to tough to navigate through that airport) and then the rerouted us to LAX! Ontario should be able to handle all the flights with the new terminal? I hope so! Don't want to end up in LAX again!
CL - Wow, it is you! How I envy you - spending your life in the Sunshine state and visiting the Golden state to boot!
Is it love? Or is it comfortable? I'm sure he is in love... you know how to make the deposits. He's still learning? YES! I am going to see the kids. Just found out a few weeks ago that I have another grandbaby on the way! Yeah! - the ankle: Just fell and twisted my ankle, now ligaments are torn. They tried to get me into a walking cast last week, but couldn't get my foot flat on the floor. It is doing better this week. Have a stress ex-ray scheduled for Wed, then I will know more about the surgery, etc.
LC - It sure sounds like your husband isn't being honest about the past, or his feelings about CW - but you already knew that. I'm waiting for the Harley's to endorse some sort of honesty vitamin - and I will buy stock. Sure would make life a little easier, huh?
