I've been doing good (emotionally) all week, but for some reason today I just feel down. I know all about the rollercoaster, but my W didn't do anything to cause this. She called the kids last night, but did not talk to me at all. We talked earlier in the day. She called to ask how the video tape of our daughter's play turned out. We talked for a while (nothing of importance) and it was pleasant.
However, last night I had several dreams about my W and about us. It was almost like they were signs that the marriage is in fact over. Oh man, I hate feeling down. The good news is I have a counseling session in 90 minutes. Maybe I'll feel better after that. I'll post again then.
S&C

Hang in there, please! I dreamt about my husband last night too - dreaming that he came back to me and kissed me and I could feel the love in his kiss. It's so horrible when you wake up and find it was all a dream. But, here I am, make-up on, hair done, nicely dressed, perfume & jewellery - ready to go and do something nice for myself, like shop for some new clothes (now down to 112lbs on this wretched 'stress diet'!!).
The best 'cure' I've found for the down times is to 'phone a good friend and have a long, long chat, or to browse through the MB website and get my hope back into gear. I looked in the mirror this morning and told myself 'How on earth could he even consider losing me, he must be mad, this is the biggest mistake he's ever made and he's going to regret it'. LOL! Seriously though - take a good hard look at all your best qualities, give your self-esteem a big boost and above all, never lose sight of the fact that you are doing her a BIG favour just by being prepared to wait for her. You have patience, forgiveness, love, compassion and hope in your heart, and that makes you a really cool guy, believe me! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
hugs, Paint

Sad-
I'm with you...the "rollercoaster' drives me nuts! Why is it that way?? Can't stay with any emotion for any length of time. I'm feeling good on a roll then crash...makes me want to puke. If anyone knows how to stay in a groove for a while post it before they cart me off to the state hospital.
DD
