I went to counseling yesterday (wife didn't go she is still with sister that has cancer). The counselor now believes that my W may have borderline personality disorder (BPD). Okay, so maybe this isn't all my fault, which is good. However, the bummer part is that now I find out that I may have simply served a purpose for the past 13 years. And I thought we truly loved each other. With this disorder you may view something as love, but it is really just serving a need within the disorder. That's a difficult thing to deal with right now.<P>Anybody else ever had their spouse possibly diagnosed with this disorder?<P>S&C<P><p>[This message has been edited by sadandconfused (edited May 11, 2001).]
