I think this is a positive step for my WH! He's been confiding in a man at work who spoke of a men's bible study group at his church. The group is in week 3 of 8 and it's using the book "Every Man's Battle". My H is going to start attending tonight.
Here's a link to the book: Every Man's Battle
Has anyone read this book or been to a bible study that used it? I heard a segment on Family Life Today with the authors and found it to be a great segment (I even mentioned it to my H at the time).
I guess it couldn't hurt right? That sounds like a very positive step. Pray that he will be surrounded by supportive men who are of true faith. My H has experienced that and it has been a huge asset.

Thank you for the responses! I do see this as a positive step. He said the class was really great and he opened up to them knowing they are all struggling with pornography and such.
He was reading part of the first chapters to me on the drive to the church and there was a questionaire about SA - he answered yes to a lot and I think he was surprised that it doesn't take much to be classified borderline SA.
He also opened up this morning and told me that his disappearance last fall WAS about another woman. He said they met on the net (yahoo game rooms) and made plans to meet. He said she never showed once he was in FL so he did the strip club thing. He said he hasn't had sex with anyone else during our marriage (we've only been married for 16 months).
I feel encouraged!
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
RECOVER * REFOCUS * REGENERATE ~ BREATHE * RELAX
By Eleanor Roosevelt ~~

"People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. Sheryl,
Thanks for being encouraged for me! I'm trying to not get too excited over this, but how can I not?!
We're going to buy this book tonight (he shared with a friend at last night's class). He seems very open to this. He asked me to put the "lock" on the adult cable channels (about a week ago) then asked me to throw away his 1 porno video he has this morning. I obliged, but as I'm typing I guess I should have had him throw away the video. Next time (I hope there isn't a next time). Free -
So there you are.
I have heard that was a great book. Also, Ted Roberts has one called Pure Desire that was pretty helpful for me as well.
You can find it on Amazon.
