I found it on the web after reading your post. Now I'm curious as to what you think, given that you have it. Does it look good?

Hi,
Thanks for your replys.
I downloaded the book for $30.00.
I don't know if the philosophy would have changed the course of my situation if I had tried this when it all began.
But I did do a lot of the things that the book says do not work.

Some main points of Mr. MCDonald:
1. TOTAL ABSENCE OF PRESSURE IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM CREATES A
VACUUM.
2. Totally agree with ws's negative feelings.
3. Don't say what you want.
4. Pretnd, act, pretend, act, pretend, act, pretend, act,
etc. taht the divorce is okay with you.
5. Say you like your freedom and space.
6. Act independent.
7. Do not try to stop the legal divorce because this
heightens the "emotional divorce"
There is much more and he doesn't focus on "affairs".
However, regardless, the book focuses on How to stop the divorce.
My husband filed and stopped it two times in the last year and he is still in an affair. He recently ignited the issue
in late March and a hearing is June 15. He hasn't called this one off and I am not holding my breath this time.
I am now preparing for the worst, as best as one can prepare esp. emotionally.
I keep telling myself that this is not my fault, and it is out of my control. Of course, since the affair, I have
believed that this is my fault and I can change his mind.
Was I wrong? Yes, it appears so.
I have tried to put into practice McDonald's suggestions, albeit this far into the affair and the divorce three weeks away. Even after the d. happens (which is not easy for me to even type that it will happen considering how much I don't want it and dread this legacy and tragedy for me and my children), McDonald says just "ACT LIKE IT DOESN'T MATTER
SO WHAT, WHO CARES, I DON'T NEED YOU. I LIKE THE MY FREEDOM AND SPACE. THIS IS GREAT. DON'T DISAGREEE WITH THEM AND SMILE AND BE HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
For me to do this is to lie, lie, lie. BUT, EVERYTHING I HAVE DONE SO FAR HASN'T WORK.
I have to go. will write more later.
send me your e-mail and I'll fill you in on more.
good-bye, elo
