Hey formerly known as sing,

As my neice would alway ask "Is Shelby going to die" in her best southern accent. In your case I do not think you are going to die. It may feel like it but you are well on your way to finding you.
As you know we Southern women are stronger than we ever let on. I am so sorry your H is being the fog-man. Maybe you should move and get your kids settle. Life in the States might calm them down a bit and give them a since of security. Maybe it is time to go to plan B while you think what your next move is. It just seems you are loosing love for him and respect everyday.

Pahakissa1
Hey, I just tried to delete my post but I can't get it off.
Got off the phone with my H, & he has been to get his drivers licenses for here. Does this make sense, we may leave here next wk for good, & he is getting his licenses, guess he is covering his bases.
Then I told him that OS could go to summer school basically where we use to live, he keeps going how can he go there & I started to say well that is where I am going to be living.
I will try biting my tongue one more day; I may have to have a transplant yet.
But the song I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I will be back,.... just keeps going through my head. I can't wait to get back to the US even if it is only for a month or so.
I am not a real big TEX-MeX person but there is a chicken fajita taco salad calling my name, & about 10 other places to eat.
I could eat any kind of fajitas just about every day.
Speaking of Southern, I'm reminded of a somewhat corny tale by Jerry Clower. It winds up with a fellow up a tree trying to fend off a Lynx (a sort of "souped up wildcat") with a stick. He says to his friends below "shoot, shoot!". The answer is, "we can't, we might hit you". His response, "well, just shoot up here amongst us, one of us got to have some relief!".
Seems like you're to the point where you need something to change to preserve your sanity.
If you come back, what are the legal implications of bringing your kids even if H doesn't come?
Still hoping for the best somehow,
Steve

Steve,
Loved the story, that is me any kind of relief will be great at this point. To show how I can't stand to see what happens next, I read the last page or pages, well sometime the whole chapter 1st in books or like when Survivor was on, I read about it on the internet before they show it here.
I want to know now, & that is too late, which is funny because except when I get hyper on a subject, I am the sit on the veranda type girl & with a big glass of lemonade with a little mint, yes I am a teetotaler & watch the butterflies or as the case my be the mosquitoes (Haven't missed those or the fire ants).
.
Maybe not, but I sure understand wanting to know. W & I are still on a slow upward trend, but I still wonder if we can really have the kind of relationship I want. You're in a tougher place, of course. We all wish we could help, just don't know how.

quote:

I am the sit on the veranda type girl
...& watch the butterflies or as the case my be the mosquitoes (Haven't missed those or the fire ants).

They're still here ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif) . I now treat my yard with diazanon 4x a year and that keeps the ants down. The mosquitos still live, every time I go watch one of my sons' games I get bitten, but I think the mosquito season's about over.
Let's see, the Astros stink right now, it's getting toward the wonderful 90 degrees 90% humidity summer time, but other than that things are ok here ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif) .
Keep us posted.
Steve
Steve,
What happen to the Astro's? My dad is a big time St. Louis fan, then a cub fan; I am getting tired of the emails telling me how great the 2 of them are doing.
Well had an email from H. It looks as if the ball is in my court. What do I want to do he says? Work he can do what he wants,
He is still angry with me for him having an A, he will be staying for the boys, doesn't feel we can ever have a relationship again. Blah, blah, He feels angry & resentment if we stay here but yet what do I want.
I really don't know anymore. Yet when I think of saying okay let's end it. I see my YS, he loves his family so much, I can't tell him we are getting a divorce, I just can't.
Another day or so will not change things, guess I need to do some talking to the big guy upstairs, he is the only one who can help me.
Can you say Jose Lima? Who is Kent Bottenfield, anyway? Ellerton is not having a year like last, either. Bagwell and Hidalgo a little down right now, the rest of the lineup mostly struggling a bit lately, but overall the hitting has been good this year. We just went a game below .500, tho, on an 8 game losing streak ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif) .

quote:

Another day or so will not change things, guess I need to do some talking to the big guy upstairs, he is the only one who can help me.

Well, that's the best source, tho don't forget He sometimes sends friends and counselors also.
Your friends here can throw out ideas, but it's hard to evaluate crucial decisions w/o knowing you and H in person or being able to talk at length. Maybe even if you can't do MB counseling a session or two just for you to see if it's maybe Plan B time...
I'll think and say a prayer, but it's real late here and I'd better sign off for today.
Steve
[This message has been edited by StillHers (edited May 30, 2001).]

PFKAS - just wanted you to know that I'm still pulling for you.
I'm glad that you root for a National League team, at least.
The only benefit of moving north for me was getting away from the fire ants. I could never stay ahead of 'em. I think I just made them mad, so they'd go to the neighbor's yard for awhile, then come back when he made 'em mad. A quick fire ant story: When we'd get those real toad-floater thunderstorms, our back yard would flood to about ankle deep. One time, I saw a floating island of fire ants. They had bunched together and were holding up their eggs to keep them above water.
WAT

Dave thanks. WH went out an hour ago for Gatorade & to go the ATM machine, do you think he is on his car phone.
The 1st words babies in TX learn are ANTS, ANTS. It only takes once for them to be bite for them to know.
My favorite sure-fire way to get rid of fire ants is from a friend’s dad, he was quite elderly & senile, but it works. Get a gallon of gasoline, pour, light a match, drop it, there goes the ant hill, & the yard, the neighbor's yard, etc. The older he got; the more they had to watch him, & if he started muttering about fire ants, it was trouble.
OH My fire ants. They have invaded my Mom's ranch and taken a couple of baby cows and deer with them. At first being earth friendly we use to try the non toxic ant killer. They just asked for more. Next came the diazanon. Now they just push it around to make it look like they ate it. We too are up to gasoline to kill them.
I am so allergic to ant bites that when I get bit by the little sugar ants I swell...I can not imagine what a fire ant would do to me. Good think I know live in New England. I doubt they will move up here unless they like the cold.
Worthatry how funny a floating ant farm. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
