Hi
I know I sound like a spoiled baby but I really need you to hold me up before I sink. I took the day off from work today and I’m trying to motivate me into getting off my sorry butt and get on with my life but It’s easier just to sit around and cry. I know some of you might think that I’m a pain and that I whinne to much. Perhaps I do. But at least I’m honest. It HURTS!!!! - I know you know how it feels to hurt!.
Sorry for screaming out for attention - But I’m all messed up over here and you are sort of a lifeline!
I'm gonna fight you on this one, Humble.
Take the day off. The whole day. Get yourself some ice cream, a spoon, a straw, and a box of tissues. Crawl into bed, cry, eat and blow your nose. For 12 full hours. Let it all out. Don't fight it. if you start to get up, get your butt back in bed. Cry 'til you're tired of crying. sleep and eat. Slurp up the ice cream with a straw when it melts. Stay in bed except to pee. Take a day today to wallow.
Get up TOMORROW morning and smile.
It works...
The Hat

I'm here.... how's the hangover? Boy, I know how that feels - about a week before d-day, when WH and the OW were 'just friends', I tried to drown my sorrows in Spiced Rum - big mistake. Threw up all night and felt completely lousy! I actually slept on the bathroom floor... I only had a couple of glasses as well, I'm not used to it, so it hit me really hard!
((((((Humblefish)))))). It's day 2 - you feel horrendous. There must be so many questions you want to ask yourself, like "Will I ever be happy again?", "Will I ever meet my true love?", "When will this pain go away?"... I know - We all know how much this hurts. Believe me - just believe me - when I say that it DOES get better. Every minute seems to drag on like an hour - the nights are the worst I think. How is anybody supposed to survive this sort of pain? But we do - we do survive it, and we go on to lead happy, joyous, fulfilled lives. It takes time, courage, strength, hope and grace - but you know what? You have those inside you - we have seen them shine through before. You will survive this - and when you do, you will feel so wonderful about yourself, be proud of yourself - because you fought the grief and temptation and you won. You WON. Humblefish, you CAN pick yourself up after a fall. You have such strength inside you. Please believe that.
((((((hugs))))))), Paint.

I'm not very good at pep talks. Not very good at a lot of things, but thats all right [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] one thing at a time. Focus on the little steps. Things will be just fine no matter what happens.
Don't apologize for asking for help. I among other people are happy to offer what help we can. What strength and what prayers we can for you. No need to apologize for that =) Things do get better. Believe that [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
No one here thinks your a pain, no one here thinks your whining. Don't doubt yourself, or the help you need.
Hang in there [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
My Prayers, and Strength are with you.
------------------
[H] / Aeon Blue
My advice is my advice. Take the good, disgard the bad. Do whats right for you. Not because I said it worked for me.

Dearest Humble......you are closer to recovery than you think. And you very well may have jumped the greatest hurdle of your life......letting go of someone/thing that you cherish! Sometimes when you truly love someone, you must look at what is best for that person and if that means letting them go, so be it. That is love at it's finest. At least you went out in a bang rather than let the relationship continue onto a rocky path of misery for all involved. Live and learn as life is an education and you only live once(as far as I know); therefore, make it count.
Know that people do care about you and are supportive of your decision. And most will agree that what you did was most courageous. You will reap the rewards and I, for one, hope that they are bountiful. Hang tough, be strong and take care [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
Time heals all wounds as long as you DON'T pick at them!

[This message has been edited by GeezLouise (edited June 14, 2001).]

This was posted on the less than GLORIOUS BOARD! Coincidence or is someone telling the MB Board what they want to hear? u be the judge!
Posted by Fogged Out on June 14
"just a question to experienced OWs: Has anyone ever been in a situation where MM's W had their baby while you were involved in the EMR and did he ignore you after the baby was born or did he try to connect to you even more? I'm just wondering what to expect. I told MM that I felt like I would never see him again now and he said "No,no,no,no,no! You know better than that." It's still going to be a lot harder to see him because she is supposed to be working at home for the first year of the baby's life. Should I give up now or wait around wondering what will happen?" It was also posted that the OM already has a 5 year old girl w/wife. hmmmmmmmm

Hi all
I’m actually still alive but I couldn’t bring myself to go to work today either. I’m just a big emotional basketcase. But I will pick myself up during this weekend - I just have to. Right now I’m just living through this screen - amazing really how attached I have become to you all and this board - another addition???? - Neeee just a bad joke!
trying2_4give
I’m not really understanding your Q. Perhaps because I don’t have any children and neither does xMM and his W. But I can tell you this much from my personal point of view - I would NEVER get involved with a MM while his W was pregnant - the thought is discussing to me. Actually I told xMM that I wouldn’t even be involved with him if there wore any children between him and his W. I know that doesn’t make me some kind of ”saint” but that is how I feel. Sorry for not being able to answer your Q more.
PUHHHH - another bloody day....and the sun is shining....I wish it could rain and that there was a storm outside - would fit my mood better......
So many OW coming to MB lately it is hard to keep up. I apologize to you Humble.
