My wife said to me when I called her at work for the kids to say goodnight:
Her: Thank god you called. This homeowner that lives down the street was here again, harrassing me.
Me: What do you mean, wanting to go on a date?
Her: Yes, he keeps coming and asking. He won't leave. And can you believe he is married with 3 kids?
Me: Really. Some people just have no morals.
Her: (no reaction to my secret dig) I know. If I ever call you and hang up, it is because he is here and I need to be rescued.
Me: OK (I'm thinking...soon you'll have to rescue yourself)
Me: Call his wife and tell her: it'll be the last time he comes in.
Her: No, I can't do that, he has three kids.
That was about it.
tee hee! Pretty interesting how we can never seem to see things quite as clearly for ourselves as for others. No morals. Ok. (Watch out for those green lights.. AHHHHHHHHH! ) ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)

You know, a year ago I would have never believed that story... "You're traveling to another dimension. A dimension not of sight and sound, but of the mind of a person having an affair. A journey to a wondrous land whose boundaries defy all logic and explanation. Your next stop, the Fog Zone."

Okay Actual conversation with H about 2 weeks after d-day:
H: Students!
Me: what?
H: We had a conversation about the writing prompt I put up today. (something along the lines of, if you found something that wasn't yours, would you turn it in?)
Me: hmmm. what did they have to say?
H: They just don't get that wrong is wrong. Students today have not morals.
Me: oh, really?
H: I just went on and on about how they need to know right from wrong...that they had no moral upbringing...everything they see on tv and hear in music.
Me: did they get it? (thinking---were you listening to yourself?)
H: Nope. I came to a stalemate. They just don't get that wrong is wrong--there is no grey. It's black and white.
Me: amazing.
Truth is stranger than fiction. As this journey as developed, I often think of that talk. My other favorite is when he tells our boys not to lie...that lying is wrong. HMMMMM.

Cali

Cali:
Wow. A definite candidate for the second episode of Ishmael's Fog Zone, or a sequel to my Close Encounters of the Fog Kind ...
I think WAT may have stumbled onto something about alien conspiracies, if you ask me.
Godspeed,
STL

Rick - this takes the cake. She wins the prize - there is no second. For a change, I'm speechless.
Ishy - loved the Twilight Zone spinoff.
BTW, Rick - I predict your Plan B is going to be very effective - she's gonna be profoundly affected and you're gonna be rid of this crap.
WAT
[This message has been edited by worthatry (edited June 27, 2001).]

![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/rolleyes.gif)
kind of like last night. H and I were talking and he said:
"If you think mine (meaning affair) was bad, the CEO and his secretary were having an A, and everyone knew about it. Now neither one of them is married anymore, and she doesn't work for him anymore." I simply asked why that was any worse than his, and he truly didn't understand my question.....DUH!!!

A couple of weeks ago (several weeks after discovery), the kids and I showed up unexpectedly one night after my wife's Saturday night English class just to say hi and to see if they had any good snacks. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif) She and the students were very surprised to see us. We said hi and then asked when she was going to be coming home. When W (the WS) got home she said the students asked if I was angry with her. She told me not to do anything that would make the students suspicious that there were problems between us because they (all males and primarily illegel immigrants working in the area) might start hitting on her and making her job more difficult. The thing was, she had the A with one of her students and the encounters often took place after class as well as other times during the week!
SG
O...M...G! Un-Flippin-Believable!
Okay Rick, here's one for ya:
H: I love my OCs so much and want the best for them when they grow up.
me: I can imagine, they both have so much potential.
H: I think it's important they respect their loved ones and cherish those relationships.
me: I agree. (thinking ... huh? what am I, chopped liver?)
H: I want to be at their weddings one day and be able to stand proud as their father.
me: I can understand that (thinking ... well maybe you shouldn't be boinkin their mothers while you're are married to me, that may help)
********
The next time there is an Alien Abduction, I would prefer they keep the bodies as well as the brains. It certainly would have saved me alot of grief. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Jo
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited June 27, 2001).]
