It's interesting to see the length of marriages before the A's start but I wonder how old most WS's are.<P>I read somewhere that women get very restless in their early thirties and men in their late thirties-mid fourties.<BR>They are supposed to have more A's during these times.<P>My H was 45 at onset of A.How old is your WS?

My H was 42 when his first A started. Very restless and midlifecrisis. He had just lost his last remaining parent and was passed over for a promotion and had worked for the same co for his whole career. Very restless.I wish I had known this made him ripe for this type of thing with a single coworker. I would have watched it all more closely.

HI Maezy,<P> My H was 45 when his affair started......How much more midlife can you get? He also bought a Corvette.....and I STILL didn't have a clue. In fact I used to joke that at least it was a car and NOT another woman!!!!(Little did I know it was BOTH!).......LU

My H was 42. We have been together 12 years and have a 6 year old daughter. I do think mid life played a oart though he denies it's to do with age. He has been questioning his life etc.

My H had just turned 35. Definite MLC. He admitted he wanted to be back in his college days when he could just "party and have no responsibilities."

My H was 44 when he started this Affair. This is his second affair in our 15+ year marriage. The first occured aft his mother passed on, he was 35 at that time.<P>I just want to add a cavaet:<P>I believe in Marriage Builder's concepts and principals wholeheartedly. If my H and I would have learned of MB during his first A, I believe we may not have experienced this second occurrence. <P>So what I'm trying to say is ... stick with the MB principals throughtout your entire married life. Don't just implement them to accomplish your recovery. My H's A started (as far as I know) when he was 47. I was 48, OW was 21. OW is former employee and there have been rumors back to when she was 18 or 19 and he was 45. My WH had just turned 27 shortly before the PA occurred with OW#1. That was this past March. We have been married for 4 yrs, and together for 6yrs. (I am 28, OW is 32.. but looks more like 42!!)<P>Karen<BR>
