My H just walked into my office (we work in the same building).. I was going on about the day yesterday,- different things... he just looked at me with this strange look.. I said "What" He said "you just look so pretty today.. You seem to be in a good mood".. I said, "Well, it doesn't do any good for both of us to be down.".. I kept talking, he half smiled, then said "Do you mind if I just keep my opinions to myself and keep the moment good?" !@#!#$#@$@#$# .. it's like that all the time.. I'm tense, I talk 100 mph because I see the look in his eyes that he's about to say something that will kick me in the stomach and smash the whole day.. I smiled and said "That would be fine." We (I) already have a communication problem with him, and of course, that doesn't help.. but I just don't want to hear it... I just don't. I'm emotionally tired.

L:<P>If there is to be a silver lining in this: at least he did not LB, and kept "his opinions" to himself. Next time, smile and say, "Thank you for your consideration."<P>Godspeed,<BR>STL
