Paint,
I haven't talked to my wife since we went out together. I have been thinking. Do you think it is a good idea to ask her out to dinner and say that I just want to enjoy your company, or should I just wait to see what she wants to do?
Indy

Wait - 'dinner' sounds a bit too heavy. Can you e-mail her with general day-to-day stuff, maybe send some jokes to 'brighten her day'. Light and fluffy stuff! If she responds well to this, then you could casually ask her out for lunch or coffee next week - but if she agrees, keep it light and friendly - no LB'ing, no heavy stuff about your relationship [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I'm out the rest of today, will be back this evening!
Best wishes, Paint.

Paint,
She doesn't have an email address. She works in a warehouse. I have a number that she has called me from before. I think it might be the OM's number. Should I call her or wait for her to call me?
Indy

Paint,
You know I forgot to add that about two weeks ago I was on the phone with my WS and I asked her if she was happy and she said no. I don't know if I should take this one way or the other. I mean if she is not happy is it with the OM or is it because she has done this. I am not sure. I have a feeling it is because she has caused me and the kids great pain. I think that she thinks that she is justified in what she has done. I think I will ask her when I talk to her next. I asked her if she missed me and she said that she doesn't want to get into that. She said that she had her opinion about this and I asked her what it was and she didn't want to give it. My W hasn't said that she wants to fox anything. She left for a week and told me that she wanted a divorce and it wasn't feeling it was money that kept her from filing. She has not wavered in her actions at all. Did your WS ever tell friends that you both know that they were threw with you. My W told a friend that she would not touch me if I was the last man on earth. She has a lot of pint up anger. Is it a me? I don't know.
I felt a little peace yesterday. I don't know what it was, but I did. I felt alittle more like myself. Really for the first time since Jan when my W left our apartment. I have not let the love I have for her go, but I can't explain it. Did you have the same thing happen to you?
Indy
[This message has been edited by INDY_357 (edited June 29, 2001).]

Paint,
My W just called. She sounded normal. She asked if she could get the kids tomorrow and if they could spend the night. I asked her where they would be staying and she didn't answer so I asked her again. I told her that she knew where I had the kids when they were with me. She said why do you have to be such a jacka**. They will be staying in an apt with me in town. She gave me a number a couple weeks back. I called it and an answering machine picked up with a girls name on it. I asked her how her leg was and she said that it was alright. I asked her how work was and she said that is was work. She then apologized for saying what she did and that I was right. Asked if we would be at my parents house and if I would be there. Why would she want to know if I would be there? I kept a very level voice and kept cool.
Indy
[This message has been edited by INDY_357 (edited June 29, 2001).]
