I was just sitting here cruising around, feeling down in the dumps when I happened across a thread started by Rick 37 on June 27 about his "Alien Encounter" I have not had a laugh like that in a while (I guess it is true, comedy is really tragedy!) It was also so true! The way WS can at times take a deception and turn it around in their own minds to be the God's truth! Scotty, beam me up and take me away! The pod people have taken over our spouses! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/rolleyes.gif) Then I read the responses to the posts tonight directed to "Princess" (Isn't that precious!) Sometimes I feel like I am the crazy one, but you know, I, and the people on this site are actually the "sane" ones!!!!!
Thanks for the laughs! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) :
God give us strength. (He also gives us humor!)
AFL

AFL,
If the WSs could only know how their serious comments can be so funny and foreign to a normal human mind.

Yanno .. as I think back, some of the things my H said to me were so OUT THERE ..
Like our 14th Wedding Anniversary, He woke me up to tell me that we were NO LONGER MARRIED, THE MARRIAGE IS OVER. Then he immediately asked "where should we go celebrate our Anniversary Dinner, honey?"
I am not kidding you. LMAO! The friggin Moose Brain Worms were coming outta his ears! lol
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited June 29, 2001).]

Unbelievable that he could say that and want to go celebrate.
My wife did something similar...one morning at breakfast, about 3 weeks after she announced she wanted to leave, she said "I just want you to know that as far as I'm concerned, we don't have a marriage. It was over long ago." She threw in that she could do as she pleases, and I have no say in anything.

I think, perhaps, that the ancient witch ritual of jumping over a broomstick is recognized by most jurisdictions.
Resilient:
LMAO ... that one wins this week's "In the fog award" hands down.
A busy week for WAT and the transporter to the Mothership.
Godspeed,
STL

In Oct 2000, my H said he was thinking of leaving for a little while to give us both some "space" and that he "might" have found a place. In May 2001 I noticed an letter received in the mail with a return name on it I did not know. I could tell he seemed somewhat secretive about it when he opened it but thought maybe I'm just paranoid!(Ofcourse I have no cause to be!) I casually asked him about it and he said it was a man who he had once talked to about renting a house and found out he might be able to do some work for him to earn us some extra money so we can build up our savings, so the man sent him his business card. That was all that was said. A couple of days later, I checked to see if H had change for a $20. In the course, I found a check from this person made out to H for "deposit for house on Wood St." I asked about it, he said, he had put a deposit down in Oct. to hold the house, got to felling better about "us" and I wasn't going to kick him out so a couple of weeks before he canceled it. It was the deposit.
Well, the first part of this month, while seaching Microsoft Money for a discrepancy in the bankstatements, I found where he had paid $375 a month in rent for this house for 6 months (November till May) So 7 months and $2400 later I discovered it. (Yet he will "worry" about our money situation, complaining we cant get out savings built up!)
His response, "I did not deceive you. I told you in Oct. I was thinking about it." and about the letter. "I didn't lie to you, he did send me a business card."
Oh, how silly of me! Ofcourse I shouldn't feel deceived! He was ever so honest! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/rolleyes.gif) (At least in his mind!) Go figure?!?
**I really like the orgin of the word "wayward"! That is soooooo good!. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) :
God give us strength.
AFL
