I was getting my 3yr old daughter ready for day care today. While I was holding her on my lap she touched my hand and saw my wedding ring on my finger. She played with it for a minute and asked my why I was wearing it. I told her it was because I love her mother. She asked me if I always wear it. I told her yes. I never take it off. Mommy put it there and I still love her. That totaly ripped my heart out. I don't know if she asked me because I have my W's ring or not. How do you explain this to a 3 yr old little girl? <P>Indy

Indy,<P>I have one for ya. Last night as I was putting my two sons to bed, my oldest son said "I love you Daddy". I said that I loved him and his brother very much. His reply was "Mommy does not love you". I was shocked. I asked him why he would say such a thing. His reply was that Mommy does not hug or kiss daddy anymore. My son is five.<P>I told my WS about his comment this morning. I told her it would be nice once in a while just to give a hug to each other. Her reply was "I don't want to give off a false sense of hope". Remind you, we are supposed to be trying.<P>I did not want to start a war, so I left it at that. I only hope that she meant ME as giving the false hope, and not the kids. <P>Could someone take the fog off of my wife!!!!!!!!<P>

Dino,<P> I know what your mean. My daughter will say mommy to me and then she will correct herself and say daddy. I hurts me everytime. I just let it run down my back. My son doesn't even talk about her at all. <P>Indy
