This seems to be a stereotypical Monday here on MB. Although I haven't read all of the recent posts, the ones I have read seem to be very sad or negative... including my own. I too, am having a bad day. But instead of venting that stuff out right now (perhaps later tonight I will), I think we should try and focus on something GOOD that happened to us today.. and share... nomatter now insignificant it may seem.
Here's mine:
I was helping H move the rest of his things back home today (he had today off from work). We were emptying some drawers into boxes, and there was an envelope with a card in it. The envelope said, "Happy Birthday <H>". Right away, I knew it was from OW#1 (they spent his b-day together out for dinner.. the night after I kicked him out). Anyways, the GOOD part of this, is that he didn't even open it and read it. He just handed it to me and asked ME to throw it out for him. You KNOW I had to read it. There was nothing 'lovey dovey' in it, but close enough (comments like, 'I'll always be here for you if you need me'.. blah blah blah).
But the point to this is that he gave it to me to throw away. I didn't have anything on me to light it on fire, so I enjoyed ripping it to shreds before finally tossing it in the garbage. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Karen
Congrats Topie and Twyla!!
Ain't it nice to be validated and add some deposits to The First National Bank of Love? Make that lil savings account start to grow and grab some interest!
My positive for the day is we booked a lil getaway for the first week of August. Gonna turn the emotional intensity into some fun and frivolity...(and who knows what else?)... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif) . Gonna give ourselves a reward for facing some of the demons and working on things so hard.
Thanks for the positives of the day!! Keep the faith!!
Trueheart
