I'm curious if any of you or your spouses have experienced a personality change after taking Phen-fen?<P>I took it for about a 6 month period a few years ago. I lost 40 pounds. And I have experienced a lot of side effects. Not the heart problems that everyone knows about, but other more subtle ones. Such as memory loss. And a change in personality.<P>Some of the changes might be due to the way I feel about myself. I definitely had self-esteem problems prior to taking it. And when I got down to a size 8, I felt incredible. But thats when a lot of the resentment towards my husband started. It was ok for everyone to admire the "new me" except him. It made me angry everytime he made comments, and especially angry when he approached me sexually. I dont know all the reasons why, but I had a different expectation from him. I didnt think it was fair that he suddenly had more interest in me, and that he finally had nice things to say.<P>Anyway -- I wondered if anyone else experienced anything like this after Phen-fen????

Lexxxy~<P>I was in Phen-Fen for about 9 months. The side effects I had was at the start, I was very cranky and odd taste in my mouth, till my body was use to the medicine. Something happened to me when I quit, meaning the crankness. <P>I was married at the time either though. I also am one of the lucky ones and don't have the heart problems.<P>Judy
