Here we are a bunch of wonderful people who have been lied to, cheated on, betrayed and hurt beyond belief...the question is why on earth do we want these people back in our lives? Don't any of you feel you deserve better than what you are getting?

Tonight, I'm asking myself the same question. I guess it's because I know this is really not her acting this way...or is it?<P>zen

I agree that this horrible hurt is the most intense emotional pain a married person can ever feel...why would we want these people back in our lives? There are two reasons that I decided I would fight for my marriage. The first is that I feel responsible in part for the deterioration of my marriage that led to my H's A. I don't condone the A as the way to deal with our problems but I did my part to turn my H away. Therefore, this is my last stab at trying to save it and what I really believe is true love (although H doesn't see that at all!). The second reason is my daughter. She's only two and I just don't want to disrupt her life with all of this negativity. She's an incredibly happy little girl and I want to preserve that happiness because she really loves her father.
