I just remember...what H said..when H and I were in court the last time. He told the Judge "I'm filing for a divorce on July 19th". H just had to throw that statement in, it wasn't even relevant to the issues or the reason we were there. It was supposed to be for my benefit, I'm sure. <P>The date he gave was because here you have to be seperated 1-2 years before you can file for a divorce. Yesterday, it's been a year, since he left.<P>Well, I guess this remains to be seen. Fight that battle when we get to it....and it will be.

trueheart:<P>I guess I'll find out if he does. I've been thinking about this. I kind of doubt it. That is unless he thinks he is going to do an easy no fault...do it yourself one. Oops, wrong answer. It's not going to be easy. Besides, Tuesday he has court...his lawyer is suing him, because he refused to pay his bill. Bet he loses that one. So it won't be that attorney, unless he gets another one. I don't think he is in a financial position. He also has more court cases pending. He may be busy and occupied with those. He should definitely obtain an attorney for the criminal charges. With that in mind, if he is able to afford an attorney, it would be to his benefit to acquire one for the criminal case. He is in a self created financial disaster, so affording any is questionable. If he is adamant and digs up money to get attorney for a divorce, he will put himself in a bind and possibly to do without for the criminal case. This would NOT be a smart idea. Of course, he is not making rational decisions. I'm sure OW is pushing the divorce, she seems to have control, so who knows. It's NOT like anything he's done and is doing makes any sense for sure. The possibility exists, but it doesn't appear sensible or affordable right now IMO. <P>Duh, more fog than San Francisco....appears no flights going out anytime soon.<P>Thank you for the support.
