I like this thread! We should keep it up on a daily basis...
1) Had a great day at work.
2) WS gave me the number to her new cell phone, in case I wanted to talk to her.
3) Met one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen: a new hire at the workplace (and did I detect some interest?)... oops, did I just post that? OK, I'm prepared for flames, but if you know my story I think (hope) you won't be too judgemental. ;>
4) I further cultivated my new 'living life' mentality.
5) I bought a fresh pack of smokes (will be quitting soon, I promise!)
6) Got invited to a local fair with some friends.
Oh yes, today was a good day.... with many more to come. Perhaps I could pass them around?
All the best,

daybreak:
Yup, money for having kids in general (whether you stay home or not). It's actually called the 'child tax credit', and the amount you get depends on your income from the previous tax year. It's a monthly entitlement (tax free, so you don't count it as income), and they now have an extra amount for lower income families (such as mine..sigh!) called the NCBS (national child benefit supplement). You get a base amount for each child, a bit extra for any kids under the age of 7, an extra couple of dollars for children after the 3rd, and so long as you do your taxes each year and are eligible, you receive your entitlement until the children are 18yrs old. Thinking of moving to Canada now? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Karen
I liked this thread, lets see if we can keep it going.
Topie I hadn't read your last post when I asked again earlier today. Canada sounds good to me!!
Lets see I went to a PPP festival, Pork, Pine and Peanuts.
It was fun, I ate curly fries and sausage, walked around and got to see about 200 crafters, something that I throughly enjoyed.
I drove done this really cool parkway that has trees over hanging it and the speed limit is only 45. (husband called cell twice to see when I was coming home)
Got hugs from kids when they got back from visiting grandparents.

Talked with best friend on the phone for an hour.
A good Day!

Had a great weekend:
- No LBs.
-H wanted to go out with friends, but didn't want to leave me sitting at home, alone. I told him to go anyway,so he dragged his feet about it but did go.
-He called me from a friend's house to see if I wanted to come over if I was bored(he thought of me).
-No sight or sound of the OW. Hopefully she finally moved out, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
After reading all of the other threads I feel that I'm lucky. H is responding to Plan A. I just couldn't imagine H leaving every night to go and be with OW. We are taking a vacation in the middle of this week, I need a break from life!!!
[This message has been edited by M&J (edited July 23, 2001).]

Good things that happened to me this weekend:
-H says he was bored all weekend, didn't have any $$ to go out and was working the whole time.
-H called Sunday and Monday, just to talk (30 minutes this morning - I'm meeting his need for conversation).
-H and I are going to beach with kids on Wednesday, then off to a movie by ourselves. Yeah!
-H hasn't cancelled counseling appt. for next Monday (30th).
-Cleaned my entire house this weekend, H is coming over tonight to see kids and will notice (meeting need for domestic support).
-I painted the bathroom finally (it's only been 6 months...LOL)

Well today has only begun, so I'll try and think of good things that happened yesterday (Sunday)
1) Had lunch with my wife. She said she had a great time, and I think she really meant it =)
2) Got a renewed sense of hope at church last night.
3) I'm going to get to talk to my brother tonight. (He lives 1300 miles away and we don't get to talk that often)

Well, some good signs anyway:
- W said I was doing a pretty good job meeting her top 3 EN (only ones we were asked to get feedback on)
- W decided not to attend some business meetings so that I wouldn't get hung up about time she was spending away from home
- W said she blew it estimating how much time a meeting would take which was the reason she got home at 2 am Sunday morning instead of going on an outing with the kids and Saturday evening
Ok but she still says that she doesn't feel right (doesn't want?) little notes from me or flowers or other gifts. She also admits she continues to pull away if I want to hold her hand or give her a kiss. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] And she basically says that she can't meet my need for SF. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
However, there were some positive signs anyway so I guess today, the glass is half-full and we're trying to fill it up [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
SG
