I'm finding out that the more I ignore my WH the more questions he asks.
So....what I want to know is......am I doing this right?
When he comes over I don't ignore him.....but I don't follow him around like I used to.....don't talk to him really unless he talks to me first.....and the big one.....I don't tell him I love him anymore...and I took my wedding bands off last Thursday.
He doesn't like to talk about US at all....so I just don't bring the subject up.....but let him know in subtle ways that I still love him and want him to be with us without actually saying it.
It's really hard to try to meet any of his EN's while he's gone....and I'm not really sure what they are anyway.
I'm just playing this day by day now.....leaving him in the dark a little about what I'm doing and who I'm doing it with........which by the way is nobody I shouldn't be doing anything with. I would never do that.
BUT......couldn't this go 2 ways.
1. He could get jelous and realize he still has feelings for me and realize that he's losing more than he wants to give up.
2. He could see this as me moving on and maybe that's what he really wants.
I sometimes think that he really doesn't care what I do or who I do it with.
OH!!!!!!!
This is so confusing!!!!!!
But at least I feel better about myself.

Hi Miss Priss, yes unfortunately it can go both ways. But in order for your H to feel #2, one of two things has to occur.
1. He's an a**hole and doesn't deserve you anyway.
2. He has so little self-esteem that he feels you are better off without him and that this is really what is best for you in light of that.
You are doing what is best for you - period. You have to take the chance that your H will realize his mistakes before it is too late. Oh don't worry, he will realize one day, the key is, will it be too late for you?? If you don't take the chance, you will never know.
That's the way I feel at least.

MP--
I'd like to suggest scenario #3...my favorite...
He sees you moving forward and wants to move with you. He doesn't want to be left behind.
Cali
------------------
Live Impeccably In Your Word.
Don't Take Anything Personally.
Make No Assumptions.
Do Your Best Always.

MP...
I like option 3 the best, from Cali! I know that when I saw the strength in W that I had not seen before, it ended up being something that was missing for me. I was feeling overwhelmed at always being so damn strong, that when she took on some independence and strength, I sat up and noticed! That was a big turning point for me, and us. All of the sudden, I wanted to share that. I realize that may not work in all cases, but I do believe it does in some. The jealousy part is just that..the green eyed monster raises its ugly head when something of *his* is threatened to be taken away. If he didn't care, to whatever degree, he would not react that way. Keep up the good work!
Be proactive, not reactive. Make him think and wonder where this strength and self esteem is coming from. Let him approach you to talk. Take it slow and read the signals. They are there...dont get over anxious.
*Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.*
Trueheart

MP--
You are feeling good about yourself, That is great!!!! and the way it should be.
I too like option 3.
Truheart were is the manuel on reading the signs?
WS throw us BS into a fog somewhat like there own, when they make things so confusing for us, how dare they?
MP--Keep up the good work, the ring thing I have left mine own throw all of this, I am still a married women and want my H to remember that we are married too, I told you that he hasn't taken his off and when asked why stated that he was still married.
My ring had broken or split last weekend and I took it in to be fixed, and H never asked where it was (am sure he looked in jewelery box) Got it back today after H left on his trip and it feels so right! I don't wear it the same as before d-day, it includes ours and kids birthstones and I used to have his closest to my heart and now it's the other way, don't kknow if he noticed, but I know, but it feels right being back on my finger.
Keep smiling!!
