Hello.
I read your posts last night, and wanted to reply that yes, there ARE people who are in your situation. My situation is similar to yours.
First of all, I want to welcome you to MB. You have come to the right place to get help and find people who want to help you restore your M. Please read all the info on this site, at the home page, and all the concepts here. This is good stuff, and there are incredible stories of success that come from implementing these concepts. There are others who are better at linking all this stuff for you, who will get you to the right places. I just went to the home page and linked from there.
I feel that my situation is similar to yours. First of all, my H didn't have to "go down to Fla to be w/OW" because we already live in Fla! However, he DID move 150 miles away to live in her house the day he moved out. That was the first I knew about their A.
He gave all the same WS script talk, "Don't want to be M anymore, M has been over a long time, filed for divorce." Don't listen to any of that - it's "fog talk." I mean, if they TRULY "didn't want to be M anymore," WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY IMMEDIATELY MOVE IN WITH SOMEONE ELSE?!?! See? They don't know what they are talking about, they don't know what they mean!!!!

I came home to note on TV (saying all the above stuff), he had packed some of his things (notice I didn't say ALL?), and the divorce papers were in the mailbox. This was devastating. I didn't even have a CLUE there was a problem. We had just spent 5 months remodeling a HUD house we had purchased in Dec. Moved in and amid boxes and in new house for only 2 weeks, he's gone. The note also said "Direct all correspondence to my atty." - in other words, "Don't call me, I'll call you." which of course, he doesn't intend to do. He tells all his family we are "divorcing, only correspond through our atty's (except I don't have one!!), and since we are separated, it's ok for him to "date" (I hate that one!!)" I have had NO CONTACT with him for 11 weeks. I have sent him a couple of notes, a letter and now will "step up" efforts to write to him on a regular basis.
You can do this, too. If you know where he is, you can write to him. Notes or cards from the kids? Light, fluffy, fun notes, happy themes. This way, you can "invade his thoughts" with reminders of home, and show him that you are still thinking of him. Show him that "home" is a fun, safe place, and you and his kids are there.
DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT file for divorce, if this is not what you want. Filing for divorce may set forces into motion that will hard to reverse. Besides, it is expensive, and your goal for being here is to restore your M, so why go through that expense if you are intending to prevent a D. from happening?
I always post too long, so I will stop here. I hope some of what I have said is helpful. As you can see by the tons of other posts you got last night, we are all here to help! Just keep reading, and asking, and we will all help you through this. We are all here together. There IS light at the end of the tunnel.
God Bless
Lupo
