Hi,
This week-end I read a post here that talked about "Exit Affairs". Someone mentioned a book and author regarding the different types of affairs and their symptoms.
I can't remember the post's title, nor can I remember the book name or author <ughhhh, senior moment??>. Can someone please help me???
Thanks!
Jo
------------------
"Remain flexible like a reed, as opposed to an oak which can snap in the wind"

This title might be Torn Asunder, which deals with the four types of Class II affairs, including Exit Affairs. I know there's another book that covers this topic, but I don't know the title.
SaltWater

Emily Brown's excellent book "Patterns of Infidelity and their Treatment". She wrote this book as a guidebook to marriage counselors to understand the psychological undertones of the various affair types.
I believe this is the book. The first post was from Lostinny about soul-mate fog, then lifeismessy is the one recommending the book. Then Lupolady posted a message "to lifeismessy" to ask more questions.
Hope that answers your question. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

gentle bump.
Jo, you were posting a reply to salwater at the same time, so you may not have seen mine. I think it's what you were looking for. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
[This message has been edited by Faith1 (edited August 06, 2001).]
