HbH- we have to keep reminding each other AND ourselves that we are not the crazy ones.
I will never be able to fully thank the au pair that was with us last summer. She is a sweet Norwegian gal who, unfortunately, had a ring side seat to the early stages of my wife's affair. It was unavoidable, she couldn't NOT notice what was happening.
She saw my distress and volunteered that I was not crazy. That was a turning point for me. After that, I asked her frequently, "Am I crazy?", because I just couldn't make sense out of what was happening. She always answered, "No Dave, you're definitely NOT crazy. She is."
Please stay the course.
Dave

Thank you WAT... That made me smile.
It is so difficult for me because my husband turns EVERYTHING around, and it's like I KNOW THE TRUTH and what I meant/said, but he just turns it all around and makes me THINK I am wrong and that I really meant what he says I meant...
And the thing is, he says I do the SAME THING to him!! So, it's like this vicious circle. He thinks he's right, I think I'm right and when we discuss things or what we meant at the time we just argue... It's SO frustrating.
It's been getting better though. And the thing I have to remember is that my H's story keeps changing, mine is pretty constant... And I have my old posts to go back to and verify my sanity.
Thanks again.
HbH

HbH:
To reiterate WAT: you are not crazy.
You are trying to look into the fog ... doing so for extended periods can cause periods of anxiety that pass for craziness.
You are the sane one. Keep up the good work!
Godspeed,
STL
