Interesting...I'm going to see Everly Brothers at Wolf Trap w/my parents!!
I guess I'm a young'un! (32) but I do like the Everly Brothers. I guess it's payback for when I dragged my parents to Madonna in 1987!

That is so cool some of you guys live close to one another.
Lora and I live within a couple miles of one another (Gig Harbor, WA). We meet for java at Starbucks and go out to eat frequently. We're planning a Spa Day soon too (full body massage, sea salt scrub, facial ... the works!)
Maybe you dudes should get together and go to a Day Spa. Very relaxing .... good for the soul too. WAT,
Thanks for the invite. As John Belushi (one of the guy's guys) would say: ROADTRIP. It's only about 8 hours for me and I relish every opportunity to get in my car and, well, drive.
Unfortunately, I had ear surgery last week and the Doc today said he didn't want me doing anything to stress HIS patch (like he's lending me an eardrum graft???). I'm slightly hearing impaired right now, but I don't think that would be a problem at a place with a name like Wolf Trap. I've been in a bunch of bars where I wish I was hearing impaired on the way in rather than the way out (of course, I was A LOT younger then too).
I'll send our good buddy Mel in my place. The ladies have been tough on him lately, I think he needs a pick-me-up.
Spa day??????? For guys??????????????????
We call it golf!
--Jeffers
I LOVE Mel Gibson. Hey.....I'll take the ticket and Mel won't need a ticket for a seat because as long as I have a face he has a place to sit.......LOL! That was nasty, but I meant it! Mel's the MAN! :-Þ
------------------
Time heals all wounds as long as you DON'T pick at them!

Uhhh hem .... Jeffers, Lora and I have male masseuse [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
So I'd pick a full body massage at a Day Spa over Golf any day! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited August 15, 2001).]

Let me see: golf, male masseuse; golf, male masseuse; golf, male masseuse.
Sorry, golf does it for me everytime. Of course, I haven't golfed in years so maybe I have revised history about how much fun golf really is.
--Jeffers

Just got back from a long day of meetings...meetings...meetings...I just love August...(don't every let them tell you teachers don't work in the summer...have I said this before?)
....and parenting class....
This was a great pick me up!
Golf...spa day...golf...spa day...well since my bowling score and golf score would be better reversed, I'll chose a spa day anyday...male masseuse? The question was rhetorical wasn't it?
Cali

[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
What is golf? A bunch of in guys in funny outfits with clubs trying with all their might to put a little ball into a little cup far far away.
from the girl next door who is has 4 golf aholic uncles, 1 BIL and H who would also make the same choice as Jeffers. Jeffers - yea, I was tempted to respond to Jo's "spa" comment, but I assumed she was trying to bait me, so I didn't. You did a better job, anyway. Just tell Mel to meet Tony and I at the beer stand.
I presume "spa" is female for "massage parlor."
I don't play goof, so a "spa" day to me is small craft warnings or a hot dog, peanuts, and a beer on the first base side. On the other hand, I have been working out a lot lately on the stationary couch.
G-Louise - what can I say - you're an Essex girl all the way, stealing a guy line.
WAT

Spa Day? Jo, let me know when and I'll be there [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] There is nothing more relaxing than a great pedicure!!
As for golf, well, it's something I do when I want to laugh. The lessons I took earlier this year didn't do a lot of good.....Hey, maybe Tiger would offer to give me a few personal lessons....
I can do baseball though....played high school softball for 4 years.....Hmmmmm maybe Wrigley Field is calling my name.....

I am in Gburg! I'm just hoping it doesn't rain tonight-I can't handle any more of that. The flood in our basement isn't as bad as DC but we had to rip out our new carpet from last year's flood! I'm just thankful we only had 2 inches in our basement and NO sewage!
I'm looking forward to the concert tonight. I really need it after arguing with H last night. Right now, for some reason though, I have James Ingram running through my head!
I'll look for you and Antonio :cool even though he doesn't do much for me! Gimme "clean" Brad Pitt anyday!
