I've got a craving for apple crisp...does any one have a good recipe ?? Also, the kids picked blueberries and I used to make a delicious tart, but the recipe is my mother-in-laws. She blames me for my husband's 13 years of infidelity. Time for a new recipe.

I don't have a recipe for you but I got a laugh out of your post.
I do have a recipe you might like. Doesn't call for fresh apples though.
Apple Cake
Grease 13"x9" pan and preheat oven to 350.
Layer in pan:
1 can sliced apples (drained) or 2 cans fried apples
1 cup brown sugar
1 spice cake mix, dry - straight out of the box
1cup chopped nuts
2 sticks butter, cut into pats
As you put each layer in pan, distribute it evenly. Bake for 1 hour.
It's great served plain, or with whipped cream or with vanilla ice cream.
