Well, the forecast was for no rain, but it sure looks like it right now.
Are your seats under the roof? In all honesty, I don't think Mel or Antonio will really show up, so I'll have a vacant seat next to me under the roof if you get rained on, but I can't tell you where it is since I can't remember. Thanks for nothin', right?
Sorry about your flooding. Don't you think it's funny that DC is applying for disaster relief? Seems that the storms there did millions of $$ of IMPROVEMENTS.
WAT

Actually, I'm not sure where we're sitting. I think it is under the roof. I was there last year-under the roof-when a downpour happened. It wasn't fun for those people on the lawn and I felt horrible for them. The place wasn't packed inside so they should have let them come inside.
It's almost ironic that the poorer locations in DC got flooded but places like Georgetown were virtually untouched. It's a shame that this problem was predicted by a study in 1982. The study 20 years ago said that the storm drains were inefficient and if they ever got a huge storm this would happen. If the nation's capital can't get even there act together...
I doubt Mel or Antonio will show up-they're probably in Hollywood rehab anyway!! I'll look for the vacant seat!

Wow, I thought it was terrific! I was 11 rows back on the left side. I thought it was really cool that their guitarist was John Hartford's son. I'm a big Hartford fan.
Oh well, back to reality.
Dave (WAT)

I thought the Crickets AND the Everly Brothers were great. I liked the Crickets the best because of the audience interaction - but the Everly's sure sound fantastic together. We were sitting in the middle, one row down from the top.
Their guitarist rocks! He was amazing as were everyone else-the guy on steel guitar and on the keyboard were equally amazing.
Good show. Unfortunately, I was really tired from being up so late Tue. night arguing with my hubby [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

dbs - yea, the crickets were terrific also. They have to work harder because they're not as "popular."
Feel free to contact me at DCScandals@yahoo.com if you need some "local" assistance. I'm still planning on a local MB get together sometime in September.
Dave

I don't know what gave you that impression about Mel and Antonio-but Mel tried to hit on me! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Since I'm married and was with my parents-I had to turn him down!!
