she called about 5 min later and I told her what I did.. by calling the police to go out and check on her safety.. She got very angry, told me that I shouldn't have. I told her that I was worried about her safety.. and then he pulled the crap he did. I really didn't need to hear the things that he said. The were horrible.
[This message has been edited by Husband2you (edited August 17, 2001).]

I guess I'm looking for validation of what I did.. althought it was wrong, in her eyes.. also. Did I do the wrong thing, being that the police have been out there 2 times in the last 3 weeks because of him?

She tells me she can take care of herself.. and I'm sure she can.. how can I explain it to her that I only care about her.. yes as a wife.. but my God.. there are 5 boys that would miss her if he ever did anything to her..
Am I wrong? should I just let her be?

Don't feel bad about calling the police tonight, ok?
I'm sending more.. just wanted to post this.
I'm praying for you too, ok? ever since you called my name 30 minutes ago.

H2y, I think you are going to have to let this go. You can't always be her protector - much like a father cannot always protect his children when they go out into the world. I think that all you can do is let go.... she's an adult. Let her take care of herself, and if she fails - and she may [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com], it WON'T be your fault.
sending through... more coming

I don't mean let her go like divorce... I mean let her go from your responsibility. plan B, or Plan A and let her take care of herself. She doesn't think she is in trouble. She may have to find this out on her own, and I don't think there's ANYTHING you can do to prevent that. She doesn't want to admit it right now.
