Earlier this summer, due to 'some misunderstanding' and a delay in my H receiving test scores...he was transfered from the school where he worked w/ OW to another school...
It was one of my 'miracles.'
Today I discovered the 'angel' behind the Divine intervention....
It was as I suspected...the administrators at his school 'knew' something was going on and as he was on a temporary contract he was 'expendible.' (also, I am well known in District and there was a level of 'protection' they were providing for me...) Thank goodness we are in such a teacher shortage that there was a job at another school...
I had told him that he was being shortsighted if he thought 'people' didn't know or suspect...heck...I even got word from friends that students were 'talking' about them...
If I were really into revenge, due to my position in the District and 'who' I know...I could really cause some distress for OW...ahhhhh...gives me some Ally McBeal/Walter Middy moments ....
Anyway...my point is...angels and Divine intervention comes in many packages...Just trust in God that he will do what is necessary in His time and in His way...
(Which is why it is NOT my place to be vengeful...just imagining it is satisfying...)
Cali
------------------
Live Impeccably In Your Word.
Don't Take Anything Personally.
Make No Assumptions.
Do Your Best Always.
[This message has been edited by JustPlainCali (edited August 23, 2001).]

Cali, this is wonderful news, I must have missed this news before!! I too believe in divine intervention.
I have been doing my best to give everything up to God. He is in control, not me. I think I've pretty much accepted the fact that it may not be in God's plan for things to work out with my husband and I (especially since he is an Athiest, LOL).
It hurts to think about, but I'm sure it's all for a reason. I keep fantasizing about meeting a nice religious person who I can bring the kids to church with on Sundays, someone to pray with.
I only hope that if it is God's plan for my H and I to get back together, I hope I will maintain my relationship with God and not have to hide it like I do now when I am with him... (he just rolls his eyes and gives me that I'm crazy look so I try to avoid it)
Wow, I just re-read my post. I'm pretty screwed, aren't I? I guess I will just keep praying. Hopefully divine intervention will play a part in my life (again?), it may have already...
Good luck, Cali!
HbH

Cali,
I have followed your story closely, but rarely have much to add to the wonderful support you receive. I just wanted to say - THIS IS GREAT NEWS. If anyone on this board deserves a break, its you girl.
You have been through incredible suffering and have remained so strong. I admire you.
By the way, I lurked on your thread to Jeffers. Almost my only connection with my WS for the last 18 months has been sex. Tomorrow will be 21 days of no contact (she was an employee who we finally were able to extricate from our lives). We are connecting on a completely different level now. I have no idea what will happen. I just know that I now have hope.
My thoughts are with you. Divine intervention is a good thing!
Newwoman

Hey Cali,
You have been through a lot out here & yes, you deserve a break. Just wanted you to know that you are LOVED and prayed for by me. Great news and I was very touched by what you wrote to chazbutler. I believe your apology on his wife's behalf really ministered to him when he needed to hear it the most... That was way cool of you. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)

Cali,
We had at least 3 episodes of divine intervention, IMO.
1) My prayer partner saw H with the OW in a neighboring town and called & told me moments after he had arrived home & sworn he hadn't seen her that day.
2) A friend saw them playing volleyball--when he said he was with the guys...er, guys & girls, some of her friends, but not HER.
3) She started dating H's housemate during one of our reconciliations--ending the A & soon closing the door to that house.
God has a lot of warrior's to call on, whether they know it or not ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) .

------------------
Lor
"Whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, gracious...think about these things." Ok I have mine too! H actually told me he thought they were divine interventions once the A was over. Since they carried the bulk of their relationship over the phone and computer.....1. H's company cracked down on outside phone calls and H was no longer allowed to sit on the phone with her at length. 2. OW's company prohibited e-mail from outside the organization and removed ICQ and other chat programs from their systems! God did not want that relationship going anywhere!!! H says OW did not believe in God. She had some cracked up theory that humans are decendants of aliens! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/rolleyes.gif)

Well, I guess this is divine intervention, too.
A few weeks ago, H informed me that he was going to go out to the bar without me, whether I liked it or not. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/mad.gif)
A couple of days later, the owner of the bar closed it down due to his wife cleaning his slate in their divorce. She had no interest in running the bar or the restaurant, so her daughter now has the restaurant. As far as I know, the daughter has no intention of reopening the bar. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)

During my H's waffling I spent alot of time reading the Power of a Praying Wife and attending Bible studies about forgiveness. I had some help from the man upstairs the day my H had me served with divorce papers. When I got them I insisted he come home from work and tell me why he filed on me. He came home and spent two hrs telling me our marriage was hopeless, counseling couldnt save it, divorce wouldnt mess up our kids, I would be better off in the long run etc etc. Then he went back to work. I then went to the home of a Christian friend and called my pastor and we prayed about it. That night when I came back home my H had left work early ( about the same time I was talking to our pastor on the phone)he took me aside and started to cry saying that divorcing me would be the biggest mistake of his life. That he still loved me. And that he would go to counseling with me that very night.( I had an individual appt time lined up). Now thats divine intervention. lifeismessy

Cali I'm so happy for you. That really is great news. you truly desreve it you've been through so much and you're always there to give support to all of us. I wish I had a divine intervention to report but that hasn't happened yet. I'm not giving up hope though because I know the good Lord works in mysterious ways. Even when I feel hopeless I get a spark of hope back just reading posts like this. Thanks for sharing your good news!
cybil ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
