This question came up on another thread. Just curious what everyone and their spouses do for a living...<P>I am a Electrical and Computer Engineer currently working on Mass Storage devices in Hardware Engineering.<P>My husband was a SAHD, recently he started working 3rd shift stocking shelves at a local food store while he attends college full time for his Archeology degree...<P>HbH

I am a self-employed Heating/Air Conditioning contractor, wife (thinker) runs the office (phones, paperwork, books etc.) as well as sahm (and trained as a nurse, worked some at it too) raisied 4 children. I supervise 2 supportive living homes. Computer Science Engineer here, thru my current job have learned massive amounts of electrical engineering as well. I work for Intel, Campus is all R & D of 64 bit workstations/servers. I'm a BIOS/Firmware engineer, very low level stuff. I love it!<P>XH is a professional musician, guitar player (30+ years). After a few years of school he recently landed a job with the City, managing their Cisco Routers. <P>OW is a Welfare recepient. Runs Kareoke on the side. I am a Key Account Manager for a top food/beverage company in the US. I have 2 large chains that I call on at the headquarter level out in East Texas.<P>My hubby is a Computer Software Administrator for the southern U.S. for an international oil well service company. He started out as a petroleum engineer and ended up going back to school for computers.

I'm a software engineer, current position is as project lead in a fortune 50 company doing research.<P>Owned my own consulting business for years doing the same thing. I gave up the business a few years ago to save my marriage. So I lost the business and my marriage. Oh well..<P>STL is a web developer/master and instructor for a fortune 50 company. His other careeres have been in the Army and as a journalist/author. <P>I hope he finishes one of those books in his filing cabinet and he gets a best seller. hope hope hope
