Well....as I posted before I am tired of working on my marriage....I'm tired of being hurt over and over again.
I'm pretty much convinced that I will never be able to trust my WH again.
I'm not saying that it is completely over.....but what I am saying is that there would have to be alot of work on my WH's part to be able to make it work. Work that I don't think that he is or will ever be ready for.
Anyway....I'm going to St. Louis tomorrow and staying overnight.....coming back Wednsday night. I'm going with friends.....just a little getaway for me. Just so I can regroup myself.
My WH isn't comfortable with it....can you imagine that?
I'm literally laughing here....he isn't comfortable with it because there are several people.....men....going that me and him don't know. One in particular that he is worried about. He has no reason to be....but he is anyway.
I told him about me going yesterday and BOOM.....he's waffling big time....saying that he has been depressed for a couple of days now. I asked him if he wanted to talk about and to my surprise he actually said that he did.
The OW and her H are getting divorced....it's going to be messy and my WH was summoned to go to court in the morning. He called me after he received it telling me that I would probably get one.....why I don't know. I never received one.
He's called me a total of about 15 times in the last 24 hours....ever since he found out about the trip I was taking.
He's went so far as to say.....if I begged you would you not go? I said no.....I want to go....I'm going to have a good time and to just get away for a day....that's is.
He also said....I was hoping that you would get served a summons to so you wouldn't be able to go.
He says that he's worried about me....that's why he doesn't want me to go.....but he also says that it's not fair of him to not want me to go and have a good time.
Anybody want to take a stab at this one????

Be silent.
He'll probably want all the details of your trip -- I'd give him none, other than -- "had a great time"
my 2 cents

Miss Priss,
I have no idea what to think of it. Jealousy is a strange thing, if that is what this is.
I say inquire with other WS's on here. Lexxy gave you good advice but I'm sure you're still searching for an explaination, I know I would be.
I do remember something my H did that was similar and just as strange. My H was in the midst of his A and he and I were at a company function one evening. A collegue, male, kept talking to us both, when he'd walk away my H would ask me if he had designs on me. My H wouldn't let it go, he kept making comments and I could see he was getting aggrevated. He finally went up to him and told him to stop starring at HIS wife. The guy just stood there ... deer in the headlights look. I was blown away, my H has never been an overtly jealous man and he would certainly never confront someone like that. My H then grabbed me and we left.
Perhaps it has to do with the tremendous testosterone surges they experience due to the A, lol ... I dunno, but whatever the heck it is, it was quite surprising to me.
Jo
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited August 27, 2001).]
