Sorry H2Y,
As of right now I am ok. Just taking it easy. Haven't been online for awhile. I don't think it has hit me fully yet. Either that or I am going to be just fine. Because I don't as yet feel bad at all. Strange indeed, don't you think?
jd

I don't have ICQ, but I do have AOL instant messenger. I could get ICQ again tho. Maybe I will do that. Hang on and I'll let you know the #.
Ok my number is, 106548988.
I won't promise much talking and my typing skills are limited to just two fingers. So if you can put up with that then I would like to chat sometime.
jd

[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
H2Y, I did E-mail you the other day, did you get it? I suppose I need to get ICQ to talk with you?
This is actullay SEM here, I forgot to change user name. Sorry.
[This message has been edited by Keep Smiling (edited September 05, 2001).]

SEM,
Just go to http://web.icq.com/ and download icq, which is a really good real time chat community program. It allows users to chat with any other icq user. It is probably the best chat type program out there. But only those who have it installed can talk to each other. You cannot use it in such places as yahoo chat.
Hope I got that fairly accurate as it has been a very long time since we have used it. Kind of a LBer around here. We never wanted the possibility of an online romance through our computer. HA, what a joke that was.
jd

SEM,
after you download it.. and you may need to read some of the help files on it.. its pretty simple after you get one of us in your list..
There are several of us that contact each other.. in crisis and other times just to say hello. We all can help you two learn it.. its not to hard.
I just got done doing a group chat with JD and another person [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I think JD needed some 'live' contact and support and I think he is going to be okay.. and if he's not .. he knows he has a friend to call on now.. for the most.. we are at least doing 'coaching' in a primitive state.. but heck.. its really just chatting and sharing experiences.
Really.. add me and I'll authorize you.. I'm available anytime mostly.. and some of us keep ICQ up 24/7.. ahem...!
AOL doesn't even come close to having the senior user base that ICQ does. Being in recovery as you both are.. I think its probably necessary to discuss the POJA and the use of ICQ. there are log files that can be monitored.. but they can also be deleted to.. so something to think about. I don't want to cause more problems for others.. (this isn't directed at anyone in particular). Just want everyone to know that chat is chat.
------------------
Semper Fi,
Husband2You
*****
···In the valley of the blind the one eye'd man is King···
· E-mail: husband2you@petroleum.org · ICQ: 1206499 · Formerly: E m p t y ·
[This message has been edited by Husband2you (edited September 05, 2001).]

JD,
I really enjoyed talking to you tonight, er.. this morning.
Remember what we talked about. I know your going to have a better day today. Time will heal what happened.
When the reality sets in .. if it does.. remember I'm here as well as the rest of us. The start of what I hope to be a wonderful friendship... and the joy of seeing you grow and put your marriage back together.
Remember that stability, security, protection, and confidence are very appealing.
One more thing.. you need to fix that new window you put in your house [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] yesterday. It will be a reminder and a LB. If you can't repair it to better than new.. replace the whole door and save yourself some grief in the long run.
Your homework.. fix that door. Sometimes you can find doors at Garage sales in your neighborhood that will fit yours. Otherwise.. at least get it off its hinges and into the garage.. so you can show her and your children that your going to fix this as well as your marriage.
Hang in there.. we've all done things on a whim.. and regreted them later.. WE ARE HUMAN, and its better than NOTHING [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Kilo Papa
------------------
Semper Fi,
Husband2You
*****
···In the valley of the blind the one eye'd man is King···
· E-mail: husband2you@petroleum.org · ICQ: 1206499 · Formerly: E m p t y ·

Thanks H2Y,
I know what you mean, W and I have always agreed not to get on the chat lines. We have both kept away from any type of chat until now, but this is different, this is helping our marriage not damaging it. We have revised our policy on chat now, we agreed that only to chat if it pertains to marriage, not just to meet people. I feel there are plenty of people in our community we can meet together, that we don't need to meet people on line, but this is a different situation. Thanks H2Y

Isn't that true. Must admit that this time I don't feel anything like I did back then. I have a lot of feeling this go round.
I am glad you and faith were around back then. And sort of taken me under your wings so to speak.
jd
