Surviving an Affair, definately.
His Needs Her Needs was good, but it didn't fit my situation, it basically dealt with the most typical cases and the most typical needs that men/women have. My H's needs are characterized mostly as typical "female" needs. My needs were also typical female needs, so someday, if my H ever reads it, I think it will really benefit him... I tried to twist Harley's suggestions around so that "husband" replaced "wife", but it just didn't quite fit...
Those are the only two books I have of his.
HbH

jd - definitely SAA. It's one of the few books, if not the only one, that deals with affairs in progress. All the others focus on affairs already over.
What other books have you read/consulted?
I highly recommend "Private Lies" by Pittman. It's a much more "academic" read than SAA, and thus, is harder to digest, but it's very thought provoking and useful as a reference.
Go to a bookstore and just browse. You may find something good.
WAT

Hey Jd,
How are you doing today?
SEM and I read the books together. I read, he listens, then we share commits on how we feel.
Good way to spend time together in a postive matter. Sherry

jdmac:
I have nearly the whole library. I'd suggest the following:
Surviving an Affair
Fall in Love, Stay in Love
These two are the most recent, and they pretty much contain all the material of his other books.

Hi, Thanks Everyone,
I have just placed the order for SAA. Will probably order more later.
WAT,
Unfortunatly this is going to be the first book I read. I have read MUCH information over the net but not an actual book. I will check on Private Lies, thanks.
KS,
I am doing pretty good so far today. As you know I found out of WS secret A #2. Assuming she is being honest at last, I feel VERY good about our chances to recover, finally.
Now, you have given me GREAT advice as to getting my W to read this book with me. I will read it for her, out loud. She hates to read so this could work for us as well.
Thanks (D)Faith1, HBH, you all are the best.
jd
