Deb,
You obviously have WAY to much time on your hands. What's going on with ya? Other than surfing the Smurf sites, you doing anything else, maybe looking at the Bugs Bunny site? AND... What is up with only one Smurfette and a billion Smurfs? You know whos house is hopping every night of the week!!!
------------------
"It's not over till we say it's over! Medic,
Great quote, but you have the date wrong. Animal House was 1979. I was born in 1960 and saw it in 1979 (I remember 'cause I was still getting carded in 1979 for R-rated movies.) Also, pretty sure John Belushi had died by 1984.
MJ

Now Medic, be nice to me ! I have a new baby after all. Mike named her Polly Ester. She arrived 3 weeks ago, I only knew she was coming for about a week. She is the best baby I have ever had, she never cries. I have been shopping for her several times !
Other than that the Hep C is in remission (thank You God !) and I am off como treatment and am in the wait and see mode.
As for there being many smurfs and only one smurfette, we smurfettes are jealous creatures you know ! wow - bozos_deb and medic238 all in one night. You guys really are veterans and I have read and appreciated all of you input. I have only recently become vocal, but have been reading since early 2000. (Wish I could just obliterate the year 2000, but here we are). Where have you guys been? I guess if you have been posting, I must have missed it. Would love to meet you all but the MB stuff is still a LB with my WS. Maybe give it more (and more) time...
Actually, bozos_deb - if you type in www.washingtonpost.com with your smurf link...it ain't too funny. Two sisters were killed in a tornado here yesterday and it says their parents are smurifily waiting for (don't want to go into it). I guess there are funny things (like before the 11th or even yesterday). Not funny right now though. That poor family. Can't even imagine...

Hi Mrs. Job,
Well, actually the movie came out in 1978 under Universal City Studios, Inc. I was quoting from the MCA home video release of 1984. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] So, I win!!!
For our graduating Paramedic class party back in 1981 we had a Toga party, boy were the hospitals around here short on sheets that week. I wonder where they all went?
Yeah, I'm a smart [censored], is it any wonder why I am D X 2? Oh, and hey, I'm a 1960 model too.

Hey Deb,
Baby? Did I miss something? I know I'm dumb as dirt, but what the hey? I certainly hope that you beat that damned Hep C. Still wishing you the best and stop hitting those damn Smurf porn sites, K ???

CL!!!,
Hey, now girl, I was right once before. I thought I was wrong, but, I was mistaken. What's up with you? This is turning into a reunion thread.

YO Eyes,
Don't forget CL, she is a veteran [old fart] as well. It seems that we have all moved on in our own way in this journey called life. Deb and CL have been fortunate [or at least I hope with little or no speed bumps] to be with their S's. I on the other hand have been D since Jan this year and am moving on with a new interest. Remember, Happiness comes from within, not dependant on whom you are with. I don't post much anymore, but come back to see how my old friends are doing, you included.
------------------
"It's not over till we say it's over! cl , et tu ? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
EWO , I'm still around sometime (I read at least 2 to 4 days a week, got hooked on MB and haven't been able to kick the habit yet.). Not as much as I used to be, I find it hard these days to be here more often than that. For one thing the past year was really hard on me due to medical treatments that are very difficult and make me very ill, but that's over with. And there is just so much pain and sometimes it makes me angry that so many are hurting so badly that I get a bad attitude here at home IRL and that's no good for my own M.
What about MB does your WS find to be a LB ? Is it the time you spend here ? The opinions and advice given by other members ? What ?
And I'm sorry about the way the link worked try using it on a site not news related, something you can or could look at just for fun.
Medic Yes a baby, I know you aren't supposed to have a baby while taking treatment for Hep, but I couldn't help myself. You can see a picture of another baby just like her here http://www.webphotos.com/view_photo.asp?mi=3&smi=1&a=35756&p=714351 look at the photo then say her name (first and middle) and you will understand. Hey Deb,
Know what's funny is that I have a bud with the last name of Sheats and he wanted to name his girl Polly Ester. Get it? Polly Ester Sheats!!!
OK, never mind. I have to go back to my padded room.
------------------
"It's not over till we say it's over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? H*ll no!" Hey CL,
You bet I'm happy. Would have never imagined this in a million gazillion years. Looking back at all the pain that occured and was thrust upon me on March 13, 1999 at approximately 0230 when I heard my dearest Bunches speaking very lovingly to the OM [because I had accidentally taped the phone lines, opps] and was then [Val] subsequently asked to leave [by me] the residence, man what a difference two years and some odd months make, huh? V still calls to talk to me every few weeks telling me how she needs to find a job *if* she is ever on her own again. She got fired from the dental office for not being a team player. I let that go by. She wants to know how I got a new car and she can't get a loan for 6 grand. Sucks to be her!!!
And... yeppers on the D present I bought myself. My 20 y/o son was kind of irritated, he thought he would get the Z28, NOT! I got my vanity plate just a few months ago, it is too cool. "XWS LOSS" T2's [my son Timmy II] got the first XW to buy him a red Z28 afterall and wants to race me sometime. Ok, dud, let's do!!!
I did get pulled over by a state cop who caught me doing 80 in a 40 zone. Said he could have impounded the car and taken my license for going that fast, But, I walked away with a warning. That's another story. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Good to see you posting again.
And Deb,
Is this perhaps an imitation baby? A doll perhaps? Am I on the right track? What kind of tracks where you following? Train tracks... Then obviously you want to catch a train. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Catch ya in the funny papers.....

Zippy the Pinhead strikes again!!!!!

cl it is a doll the one I have is just like the one in the picture (execpt that I opened her mouth so she can suck her thumb or finger or the real baby pacifier I bought her). They look so real that several people have have been fool by Polly. The people at my Dr's office freaked out.
She is a 20 inch Berenguer doll and weights about 3 lbs. If you go to ebay and enter berenger in their search engine you can see ones that people have redone (adding hair, eyelashes ect..) those are amazing and also very expensive.
Polly is the perfect answer for my empty arms syndrome. I have a baby to hold when I want to without any mess or stress. Pluse she will always be her mommy's baby.
Way to go Zippy, you got it.
