I've read a couple of your posts and you seem a little...I don't know...cranky?
So Lexxxy,
BSs are supposed to accept whatever the WS does...but the WS does not have to extend the same courtesy...
BSs are supposed to understand that WHs are confused...but they're not...
BSs are supposed to understand that WHs don't want to be married anymore...but they don't really want to be the bad guy...they just want the BS to 'surrender.'
BSs are supposed to understand that it's not about the BS.
BSs are supposed to understand that WHs can have a long list of expectations, but the BS can't.
BSs are supposed to understand that WHs can LB but the BS can't.
BSs are supposed to agree to just being the WHs friend...after years of being more than a friend.
BSs are supposed to just listen and acquiesce.
BSs are...
The list goes on and on and on...
------------------
Live Impeccably In Your Word.
Don't Take Anything Personally.
Make No Assumptions.
Do Your Best Always.

Lex, sorry I know you can fight your own battles (we've had our own).

I'd just like to remind all the BS's out there that the WS's on the board are our best view at that state of mind. It doesnt' matter if it's right or wrong. That's what it is and that's what we have to work with. I for one look for the WS's opinions because most of what is in the BS's post I understand. I think we get a little to lost in saving our marriages at all cost that we forget about the people in the M.

Stepping down from my soapbox

who

Cali -- I suppose you're right....I probably do feel crabby.
However -- I'd like to point out that those are not quotes of mine that you posted here.
Maybe they are your impressions of something I've said. ??
I don't think its fair or good or ?? for a BS. They get a crappy deal. Personally, I don't know if I'd have the strength to be one. (well, I actually was one but I didn't know it....)
So I know it sucks from where you sit. Kinda sucks over here too. Just cuz WS's have all this "power" or "control" doesn't mean we're carefree happy people.

ALthough it can be taken as extremely helpful insight into the mind of a WS, it's hard to read and want to accept.
There are NO winners in this whole mess. Cali I agree with everything you've said about how we the BS's view things. It certainly is not fair to us. If the WS's were in our shoes how would they feel? Lexxxy although I do not always agree with you I'm glad that you are here to give us some insight to the way you feel as a WS.
C

Thanks Lexxx for being understanding...they weren't exact quotes...just generalities from what has been posted of late...
BTW...I'm also a little cranky...PMSing if you will...in fact if you check the dates on my posts the last 4-5 months you will see that I get a little crazy and cranky around this time...something I keyed into last month and actually posted myself a reminder...my Outlook calendar popped up today with the reminder [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Off to drugstore to get some woman's "herbal" treatment...
Cali
