Years ago, when I was much younger, I used Proviron tablets and diid they work!
In fact, they started working within hours, resulting in some bamboo-like erections and the job got done all the time. Once I was taking them I never had to worry about an inability to get it on and in and keeping it there.
After an absence of several years , and with the advancing of the years, I felt I needed to turn again to my friend who never let me down in the past — good old Proviron tablets.
Well .. after taking the first 25 mg tablet, I discovered that friend Proviron tablet not only let me down, so to speak, but it never got me up.
All feeling just went down there and the boy would not even rise to say "good morning".
About three years ago I had a similar experience with a generic drug that was supposed to give a lift.
Men... What have been your experiences with Proviron?
Has it ever failed you? How long did it take before you started having feelings there again so that you could come back up?
Women... Have your Hs ever experienced theis down-side of Proviron 25mg?
This is serious business and cause for concern.
ClydeA

ClydeA - I'm not a man and I've never taken proviron...just wanted you to know that we aren't ignoring you. Hopefully, this bump will help you get a response.
Can you send some here for my H though? I'd love for him to give it a try...anything..really...
hugs

You'd probably have a hard time keeping him away.
When it works, it produces an erection that calls for release, so that he'll just have to find you.
Clyde

[This message has been edited by ClydeA (edited September 29, 2001).]

Could there be something physical causing dysfunction? Maybe you need to have an examination.
Just a thought...or maybe the dosage needs increasing seeing as you're older now.

Have you talked to the doctor? Immediate cutting off of feeling sounds a little odd...I would go right away to rule out anything more serious. It could be a blood pressure problem, or blod supply might be restricted somehow. Thins change in the body over time, and what once worked wonders for us years ago, may not have that same effect now.
Maybe a different medication...Someone else on the boards is talking about injections right now...yikes!!! The post is called "Erectyl (sic) disfunction ruined my marriage." You may get some info from this guy, though his problems now are the marriage splitting up.
Love and light,
Jacky

Forgot to say, but I suppose you know, that anxiety about not getting it up can actually add to the problem?

Thanks Nina and Eyeswideopen.
By the way, Eyes, this is a drug for men only.
Sometimes I wish I knew of a drug for women so that my W could get some more 'get-up-and-get', but then, she won't tske it.
Clyde

ClydeA,
I was just reading your post about EA's in EN forum.
I think with all that going on in your life it is going to be extremely difficult for you to do the deed, when obviously you are in so much pain about her EA.
You are hurting, and drug or no drug, sexual functioning will be inhibited.
I can't imagine what it must be like for you, i only hope you and your wife can overcome this fog she is in, and go on to a more productive relationship.
Anxiety, remember? Anxiety and worries from daily life can have an enormous effect on sexual functioning.
Take care,
Jacky
