I know this is off-topic, and it may have been said here before but I want to say it again.<p>FIL was diagnosed with inoperable colon cancer this week. He is relatively young, had no symptoms, and wasn't even ill 'til the past few weeks. <p>He was regular in his doctor visits, watched his heart and BP, took what meds he was on faithfully and did an annual Hemocult screening. However, he didn't think he needed a colonoscopy. <p>We don't know if that would have found the cancer early and we never will. <p>BUT...please, for your sake and the sake of those who care about you...remember your annual physical and get screened for colo-rectal cancer INCLUDING a colonoscopy.<p>Encourage those you love to do the same.<p>The procedure is fairly simple compared to any of the alternatives. <p>Do this for yourself and do it for those you love and who love you.<p>I'm not trying to preach, I just hope you take care of yourself.<p> E
