About 2 years ago my wife contracted a very bad yeast infection. She never a yeast infection in all the time I've known her. This came at a time when we were not having sex (for about 3 or 4 months). I talked to a friend and my friend said that she might've had an affair and cheated on me. I confronted her with this and she told me that she has always been faithlful to me. Can women get yeast infections from having sex? I'm I over reacting to this? I know this was 2 years ago, but I still think about this sometimes. Help.

Jiff
Have you seen others signs of an affair?
I don't think that she got a yeast infection from OM. Her body could be changing, medicines and even foods can cause them.
They are pretty common for women. It this is the only sign then I feel you are fine.
I did read your other post and can feel your pain. Sit down with your W and tell her you have done some research and give her some hints you have learned off of this site.
I would also suggest getting the book his needs/her needs. Maybe this could help you. Also I would start Plan Aing her and maybe giving her a hand with the home chores and the kids.
good luck and come here to vent.
SLH

Jiff,
I haven't read any of your other posts yet, so there may be some details I don't know about, but I can help you with the yeast infection question.
I'm an OB/GYN NP. Yeast infections are not STDs (sexually transmitted diseases). They can be caused by a million different things, and unfortunately, are almost inevitable for women. Some women have them frequently and some women may only have 1 or 2 in a lifetime. This absolutely does NOT mean that your wife had an affair.
I hope that's the only reason you had to suspect an A. Good luck
