TA
Thanks, I did it!!
Our Thanksgiving was kind of a bummer, my mom got sick last night about 2 am actually, so she was not feeling well, so dad did the turkey and potatoes, I had done most everything else at my house and walked across the street with it. She is feeling better now. Did get one game of dominoes in.
I have been away from home for the past 12 years and hadn't been home for a Thanksgiving in all those years. Did meet at my Aunts for Thanksgiving many times though. It was just kind of a let down. But am glad that mom is better and will drag her off shopping in the morning!!!
How was your day? Good I hope!!!

It was the most relaxing Thanksgiving I have had in years!
I brined the turkey last night and sent it over to IL to be "fried." (turned out super!)
I made the stuffing in the crockpot and let it steam for 5 hours. (was yummy)
Made a macaroni and cheese casserole and a greenbean casserole. (also yummy).
Took the boys to Harry Potter...then went to IL's for dinner.
Way to much food...ate way too much food...
Then we went to see my sister. Now we are vegetating and I am thinking about leftovers .
This is the first Thanksgiving in probably 20 years that I have been able to spend with my mom!

Sounds like a great day to me!!
I was just reading on another post about your sister, is this the one you were able to see tonight?
I again will say a prayer for her and your family.
Was glad to hear that your husband was able to talk with her, perhaps that helped both of them!!
