I was recently in a "Buck a Book" store & found a great book caled Addicted to Adultery.
For only $1.00 I finally read something that made so much sense.
Has anyone read it or heard of the "WESOM" organization. It stands for We Saved Our Marrige.
So many WS seem like they are really just addicts. This book tells of a prominent lawyer/cop who has a 3+ year affair & pretty much destroys his marriage, family, job etc etc.
It is enlightening to hear his story. His inability to let go of the OP. He knowa it's wrong, he feels guilty, but he can't stop. No matter what.
Sounds so familiar to so many on this sight.
I need to talk to someone today.
H still not being truthful...
I'm falling out of love...
Getting tired of being the only one working at this recovery..
Thanks for your replies..

Hi louser,
I had the book, got it about the time I served D papers, read just a little, it sounded familiar to other books I had already read--SAA, AFTER THE AFFAIR, LOVE LIFE FOR EVERY MARRIAGE, HOW TO GET YOUR LOVER BACK. So I never finished it. After we began recovery, I didn't want to read it, passed it on....
Recovery is tough when you work alone. Just remember that sometimes the WS effort looks different than the BS effort. If your H is home, he's probably making effort to be there, even if it isn't quite what you want or need.
A good place to start is the 15 hours a week spent together. It makes communication easier if you have been doing things together.
If you aren't in counseling, give that a try as well.
