Well i posted this under another topic regarding graduation gifts on the IR forum, but I thought I'd give it a try here too since I am in between [img]images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0[/img] , and all of you seem to have awesome suggestion for christmas presents [img]images/icons/grin.gif" border="0[/img] .<p>My WH is graduating from college, (FINALLY! years and years later), and he was very reluctant to the idea of going to the ceremony, but I changed his mind, (he really wanted to, but he just was making himself difficult).<p>He is the one plan Aing me and I think he has been doing a wonderful job, it still doesn't set visible changes because of the stress of living in this house and other issues, but I want to make him know he is the most special person there is to me, that I love him, and that no matter how mad I am I still see his efforts and take them into account.<p>I already have expressed all of this before in different formats, I gave him a scrap book already, and I even drew a portrait of him, (now due to be on exposition for my school, so it wont count because he already saw it).<p>I want to surprise him, with something we can do in public [img]images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0[/img] if possible.<p>Any ideas??? He claims he wants nothing but I don't know. I was thinking on a set of tools for the car that he really liked (he is a mechanical engineer btw). But I am not really sure that is a loving-you-are-my-everything kind of present lol.

I'd HIGHLY recommend the Christmas dinner plan [img]images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0[/img] .<p>Or, as one ME to another, a new HP programmable calculator is always nice.<p>No, really. Start out with the radio station playing one of your fav songs dedicated to him. Then go get a nice hotel room away from town and spend it together quietly. You would still have the opritunity to give him a gift if you wanted. Good luck and keep the honesty flowing. Sherry

My H is graduating from Police Academy in July and we are taking a vacation to Vegas...no kid.

The emphasis on the naked christmas dinner is taken in count oh almight EBoC [img]images/icons/grin.gif" border="0[/img] , but I think I am not so secure about it being all that and I would like to dine out [img]images/icons/wink.gif" border="0[/img] , perhaps for the weeked it would be good [img]images/icons/blush.gif" border="0[/img] .<p>I'd like a trip but I am broke, zero, nada de nada. I am so broke mice would make a collect for me to buy a chicken sandwich, lol.<p>AAAAGH I dunno what to do and the graduation is tomorrow [img]images/icons/shocked.gif" border="0[/img] . I wanted to assemble a little crowd to cheer when he got on stage to pick his diploma and get some of my classmates to help doing a bannard, but they are all going home after finals and nobody else on my department is graduating.<p>I am frustrated [img]images/icons/frown.gif" border="0[/img] I guess I used all my creative juices creating those sculptures and digital and real art pictures for my finals [img]images/icons/mad.gif" border="0[/img] damn you finals damn you!!!
