We had a really good time away...despite not really having the money to go .
We just hung out...went to the movies...checked out the casinos (no betting!)...and reconnected in a good way...
We were going because he wanted to see a kickboxing match and 'bet' on it...we got there in plenty of time...but once checking into the room...and settling in...he "ASKED" me for intimacy...ASKED! ASKED! ASKED!
We got up in the morning (LATE)...then just did the casino crawl...was fun in a way that it wasn't in August...I could tell he was really "with" me...lots of sharing and 'in' jokes...
We were going to go dancing last night, but we fell asleep "early" instead...
I was even able to broach a delicate subject. He is applying for a coaching job at his old school (where OW still works)...I told him...
"I am not saying you shouldn't take the position...but I have to let you know that it makes me uncomfortable"
H: "Well, I might not get the job"
"If you do, is there someway I can 'help' you...take stats...etc.?"
H then went into the possibilities of me helping...no anger that I asked the question...not upset because I was uncomfortable (not mistrusting)...just very understanding....I thought it was a big step for us...maybe true recovery isn't as impossible as I thought...

TA,
Awesome news!!
I like the way you handled the coaching job thing, No LB's good girl. I am so very happy for you!! Very envious, of course!!!
Am not sure how I am going to handle the next couple of weeks. WH is coming from visiting with OW for a week to spend a week with his kids, D boyfriend is here for a month, S girlfriend maybe coming the 26, my bestfriend and family is coming the 28th for an overnight stay, the same day as my parent's 40th, my brother will be here also, we have a BIG party planned for them with out of town company coming.
So please say a prayer for me (us). The uthor of the book "Jabez prayer" was on the today show this morning, it is the #1 selling book right now!!!
Again I am so happy and proud of you for not LBing and handling that soooo smoothely. Good job!
Dawn

Thanks needing and daybreak...
needing...just take it one day at a time and believe in the impossible...
daybreak...just take it one day at a time...don't let it all overwhelm you AND REACH OUT...I came here Friday when I was feeling weak and got some good advice which helped me be able to handle this weekend...
I think those are two of the biggest things I have learned to do...reach out for help...and wait...think before I react.
daybreak...if you like The Prayer of Jabez, you would also probably like Secrets of the Vine...I liked it better than Jabez...
