Well, I broke down and didn't know what to really do...so I called my counselor. She sat and listened to everything I told her I knew and felt (it is thier job right?). She agreed that it sounded odd. She suggested I don't say a thing and let her go on this trip. But to get names and numbers of where she was going to be in case an emergency came up. Which was a good excuse cuz I was planning on taking my son dirt bike riding for the day....gotta be ready for anything. So I did just that on Friday night I asked her for the info. She said she'd call her friend and find out. She never got hold of her friend that night. So Saturday morning arrived and she got up and made a call to her friend...still no answer. The day's plans were now shot. It was turning out to be a beautiful day here and my son wanted to head to the beach, so I prepared for that. She decided to ask to tag along. WE had a pretty good day all in all, even had a few laughs. We got back home and her friend had called, she left ahead of thier plans and was at thier friends house in this town on Friday night. So it seems the W was actually telling the truth on this one. That night W told me she really had fun with us and that she has missed feeling like that towards me for so long. She said she was sooo damned stupid for thinking the way she did and treating me like I was dirt along with thinking OM could possibly be a better person than I. She now knows he's a complete loser and used her for his own gain. She then told me that there will be a surprise cominf for me soon, something she "just wanted to do for me" and that was all she was going to tell me. Later that night I noticed she's put her wedding ring back on. Niether of us has worn ours in months. I'm kinda at a stage of telling her I'd rather she not wear the ring but feel that would be to great of a "buster" right now. I guess I can let it go for now.
Now I can't wait to find out what this surprise is......knowing her, it could be anything...anything from a home cooked meal to the motorcycle I've been wanting to buy all Summer.
I will let you all know.
P.S. sorry it took me so long to respond, yesterday was a mad house at work and now we are in the process of preparring for Floyd to hit....and I mean HIT!
I'm figuring on losing everything we don't take with us when we evacuate. I sure hope those "Good hands" don't drop the ball when I file my claim....
