I just got a speeding ticket $271!!), my very first one. Funny thing is I didn't realize I was speeding. Was thinking about my situation with my H. In July of 2000, I got into an accident. My fault...had just had an argument with my H, got into the car and just drove off. Got a ticket for an illegal left turn...my first one. I'm just a mess. Keep sinking further and further.
I'm just not all there anymore. Can't keep focused. Perhaps I shouldn't be driving at all???

oh, yeah...welcome to my world! Last Dec 8 my H left me, I had to move in with a friend, h and I reconciled but I left my daughter with the friend because I didn't want to change her school after only 3 wks. My oldest son lost his job twice in the early summer, no way to feed baby or pay rent so we had to help them out--leaving us strapped for cash. Then, just when things were starting to go right again, I drove through an uncovered manhole and put a gash in the transmission of my 2001 truck $2000 and now the place where I live is dragging its feet on reimbursing me. Did I mention that my insurance was cancelled three days before the accident because of some paperwork snafu??? And now, I have to hustle up some money to pay some extra expenses by mid March so H can go to school. And it's taken the attorney general over a year to schedule a hearing on the child support I requested for my daughter from my x.
welcome to my world. Terrie,
Hey, it comes with the territory! I don't think many people who have not gone through this realise how devastating it can be.
This has been particularily tuff on me because it is the secondofficial time I busted my DW. But the whole experience has me reflecting back on history & other things she has done & the way she has acted out.
Just know that we've thinking of you & that I pray you find some peace -- soon! You don't seem so terrified anymore.
Now that the holidays are passed, waz up?
Is he still being a basic AXX or can you see some repentence kind of thing coming through?
I'm doing home prjects as we are putting our house up for sale soon & down sizing -- so It may be a while before i check back in.
Love & prayers to ya!
HH

Hi DD, Wow, you certainly do have lots to deal with...how do we stop the cycle? Sometimes I just don't think I can or will get through it, you know what I mean?
Hi HH, Nice to hear from you too. I thought the New Year would start out right BUT...wrong again. I'm just so down because of this ticket. I'm not really as terrified as I once was...and as for my H, well, he's not repentant...still says he doesn't want to love me "now" so I guess he's still being a selfish "Axx". I hope your situation improves. Your wife is pretty lucky.
Happy New Year to both you.

Terri,
I pretty much look at life as a test...even the good old days weren't that good. I mean, locusts, epidemics, whatever, have been around since the beginning of time. It's just life. You just have to remember that they can't kill ya and eat ya.

Hi Terri,
Yes, it seemed that way to me too.
What I think happens is you're so preoccupied with thinking of the A and it's effects that you aren't concentrating on everyday life.
You know, I have no clue what was going on around me (world news, Movies, etc.,) for nearly a year or better (when in the THICK of it). It was like I went to another world for that stretch of time.
I wished I would have started on Wellbutrin back then, I lost so much time going thru so much emotional CRAP, and now looking back I think the additional bad things that happened could have been handled better, plus they may not have happened at all if was would have been more focused.
Take care, Terri. Try to just take things slower, in stride. Anxiety & stress can manifest in all sorts of unexpected behaviors.
Love,
Jo
