OOOO - by being "back" - does this mean you're no longer In Recovery?
WAT
[ January 03, 2002: Message edited by: worthatry ]

I understand. I wish I knew how to advise you. I keep thinking your W will never be able to get off of top dead center without a full frontal confrontation of "it." It's like there's a big elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about - your wife thinks no one else sees it. Am I close?
Dave

I know that recruiting of family members is verbotten, but is there a chance one of her sibs would pop the question - thereby having it come from a elephant hunter she doesn't suspect - thereby having instant "credibility" (as opposed to you)? You know what I mean.
Dave

My reaction is to not try to explain anything to her about what you think her sibs know. This feels like "education" which we know should be avoided because she'll recieve it as controlling and manipulative.
Dave

Yea, normally I get to work at 0645 (US Eastern time for those lurking on this thread). This morning was non-routine - I was at home to take my son to school because Taz got caught in Canada without all the proper documentation to get back. Somehow it was straightened out and she'll be back later today. Anyway, I got up at my normal time and had a few minutes to check here.
Your situation is clearly the slowest moving one that I know of. I don't know what the right step should be other than to at some point tell your wife that you cannot go on like this and either you mend it or end it. I know you know this.
Dave

There's a post by Lora in the "In Recovery" folder...she talked to Steve H about her husband...maybe it has some advice that might be helpful for you?
