I wish i could reach out to help ease all your pain right now, but I know from experience that time is the only thing that will heal that. 2 years ago, i would never have imagined that i could have gone to sleep without his voice in my head, his face on my pillow, his presence all around me and a huge hole in my heart. I would never have imagined the difficulties that were still to be faced, and the challenges that would be mine to own over the next year or so. A big turning point for me was determining who was in control of my life. He was for a long time, emotionally, financially, physically (He didn't want to sort out our stuff, our childrens issues, any of it). After i started to resent that for long enough, i decided i would take control of my life. This was very difficult because i had to fight my own emotions whenever he resisted anything. He didn't want me to move on. But the more i got practiced at it, i decided that i would live my life, make my own choices and mistakes, but at least they would be my own.<p>There is a beautiful story about a butterfly - this has helped me a great deal, and i now collect butterflies to remind me each day of the struggles i overcome, and the positive things i gained from it.
