ok.. this is my first time posting...my husband and I are separated for 1 1/2 yrs now, he lives with his ow... When I filed for a divorce, he basically told me he missed me and asked me if I loved him why would I divorce him... I stopped the divorce, never wanted one in the first place, but felt I had no choice. That was a year ago...He hasn't filed, but lives 1,000 miles away with his "friend" and me and our son barely hear from him, barely recieve support, I guess as stupid as it may sound, I'm wondering if there's hope. He's been involved with this woman for 2 1/2 yrs now. We were christians when we married, since his affair he claims to be an athiest. I can't begin to describe the pain this whole thing has caused me, but I guess most of you know.
My friends and family are clearly ready for me to move on. I am wondering if anyone out there has had a similar experience and had their marriage restored....

mindysps,
Welcome to the board. I'm sorry to hear your pain. I don't have that type of experience to advise you, but I would like to let you know that I read it and want to bump it up for others to comment.<p>I HOPE there is HOPE.

mindy,
I dont have the experience you were looking for but I sure know your heartache.
You know nothing is impossible with God.
That said, I have found as much as I want to "fix" my husband it is really out of my hands. Every time I pray on one of his faults one of my own is revealed.
Do you think he is avoiding divorce so he is not mandated to pay support?
I would suggest you set a time limit in your mind, and then stick to it.
Be strong

Hope and SadPrincess,
thank you for your replies. Sometimes I just feel desparate after all this time. Most days I'm ok now, but somedays I feel sad and anxious all over again. I know that God is with me, and I am to be anxious about nothing, but I am at times.
Anways, I just wanted to say thanks for replying and offering "hope" .
Mindy
