My husband's friend is cheating on her wife and I know for sure because when he was drunk he called my husbands cell phone and my husbands voice mail picked up and he is talking about what he did. Well my dilema is that the wife is one of my closest friends and I am torn. Do I tell or mind my own business?? What is the proper etiquette for that? I just do not want her to find out and then find out I knew and I did not tell her, what kind of friend does that make me????? please help

Please tell. Your best friend has been denied the right to make choices about her own life by her husband's lies.
But you might want to take her to see a counselor or a minister and tell her with a third party present...and give her the "Suviving An Affair" book by Dr. Harley when you do so.
Be prepared for shock, denial, disbelief, depression, anger and a whole range of extreme emotion. Just be there for her, thats the best friend you can be.

The standard response is...
...do discuss this with your H
...and teach him how good it would be for him to enthusiastically agree in helping your friends.
Your friend deserves your honesty...
Your husband deserves your honesty...
Your husband's friend deserves your honesty as well.
The truth can only set you free.

Jim/NSR

I agree with BrambleRose. I wish one of my friends had told me what was going on between my best friend and my H. If you want to keep your friendship with her, you should tell her. It would be a good idea to have a minister or counselor present too. I know you are concerned for her and that alone tells me you are indeed a good friend. Good luck!
