Please ignore this post if this subject strikes you as trivial--it does me, too, but here it is.
Before my husband's affairs, I did scrapbooking and really enjoyed it. I liked making the albums and spending the time with women friends. Since d-day, however, the stuff has just stayed in the boxes from our move. I am supposed to go to a crop tomorrow, but just don't know if I can face all those pictures of us as the happy family, especially during the six months during which he was scr*wing the flight attendant. I've thought of leaving out all pictures of him during that time, just cropping him out of the picture, but I'm sure that would be a big LB. I used to always show him all the pages I'd completed, so he will want to see what I've done. Besides, he hasn't been faithful to me since about 1997, when he had his ONS, so I'd basically have to leave him out for years, which would be bound to create questions from our children later on.
I can't yet bring myself to face the stuff--it's just a big trigger. However, I always felt that by doing the scrapbooking, I was creating something lovely and heartfelt for my family. I don't really want to give it up. Plus, now that we're in the new town, I need avenues to make new friends. (Uh, not that you guys aren't great, but I need some RL ones, too. )
Rose Red

I don't think it's trivial....and I do realize that this will be very difficult for you. Looking at pictures when you thought you were all happy....well that is very hard. Maybe you can just work on the children, or their sports??? I am not sure how it works......I hope you can work through this without too much pain.
MAx
