Hi daybreak,
Thanks for the inquiry. I have just been swamped..between work and the kids and trying to get finances straightened out...I don't have time for very much. I am taking a few minutes now before I have to go make dinner.
My H is still being an A**. Nothing different there. The reality of this whole mess is really sinking in. Financially, it is killing us. I don't envision a very good future for us. I can't believe he is doing this to his family. No remorse tho.
I find myself from going from being somewhat ok--to feelings like today...where I am just so depressed. I feel so rejected and hurt. When does that go away????
People have been really nice here...but I just feel empty. I am trying to go through the motions today.
Jim gets the kids Friday thru Sunday. That always makes me feel bad. Right now, I am looking forward to that time tho to catch up on some much needed sleep.
I have been able to read some of the current posts....I just don't have any advice to give anyone---I guess I am still feeling too bad. The divorce recovery class is ok--about 20 hurting people. I don't know if it is doing me any good--it just makes me sad listening to it.
Not a very good update, I am afraid. Better get dinner going. THanks again for the inquiry.

Hey,
Probably missed you already tonight, just got on. I know how you are feeling. Was pretty down WH had said that he was sending me a letter for a lawyer and didn't send it and didn't send it. Got the book A Praying Wife and have been reading that and feeling better. Even found it ironic how we both picked the same lawyer, just a glimmer of hope.
He sent the letter finally, got it after I got back from midweek tonight, so have been reading that and adding my requirements. Don't know how many will be honored or issued.
Think I will see if I can get the girls and I into some counseling. What did you find out about tricare?
I must go, have a good day tomorrow, it's Thursday so only one more to get through!!!!
Dawn

Dear daybreak and Family Man,
This is really quite a trip, isn't it? I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
Glad to know I have an emotional twin out there---at least I know I am not going crazy.
daybreak,
I can't believe you both contacted the same lawyer. What are the chances of that happening?? How funny...
We had a short week this week--but it feels longer for some reason. I could really use a vacation somewhere. Wouldn't it be fun to rent a cabin in CO and get out and do some skiing or something. Oh...I need a break so bad, from the stress, from work, and even a few days without the kids--or even with the kids if there was something to do. I am really burned out. I have to act everyday to get through teaching. I think I do pretty good, I have a great bunch of kids this year--but I teach special service kids and I am drained by the end of the day. Then I come home to my rambunctious kids--and to be honest, I am totally exhausted. And for some reason--I can't stand to come home--it is so depressing. That combined with not being able to sleep--and it is not a good scene here.
I tried to get a doctor's apt last week to discuss anti-depressants and also to find out about counseling. I took a day off of work--and couldn't get an apt--wouldn't you know. My joints have been really acting up too--probably from the lack of sleep and the stress.
I think we need a retreat for people going through this. It has to be in a great location--either in the mountains or at the beach in Florida. Counseling services would be nice and a selection of fun things to do and it can't cost very much. I will set it up if I win the lottery. The unit would have to have enough room for the kids, cooking available--so it wouldn't cost so much, but also lots of pampering for the body and the soul. Wouldn't that be neat? Well, I had better get to bed. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow....

Good night!!!
Hope you can get some sleep, I don't know that I will tonight. I haven't cried yet about this letter, and that is kind of strange for me, I can just think of what should be going on in my life with WH and ffamily and bawl for an hour and there is just nothing there tonight, scares me a little bit.
Take it easy, we too had a 4 day week this week ,last week and next week will be one also!!
Dawn
