Someone posted earlier about affairsofsecrecy website. So I moseyed over there and was actually stunned by the outpouring of support for WS's.
But what really frosted my flakes was the website: philanderers.com.
I made a post at affairs...I think I'm off the guest list after that. Oh, I think you were quite polite. I can imagine a lot of people being harsher than that. Much harsher! Maybe you pushed Jettapoot's buttons, but that's her fault for leaving them sticking out.

Thanks. I just could not believe that there is actually a website where people encourage and support extra marital affairs. I guess my old age is showing because I just can't condone helping others do immoral acts.
I was scared to even enter philanderers.

I'm afraid that it would upset me too much to go there. I mean literally make me sick to my stomach and raise my blood pressure. I can barely deal with TOW. Some people are really sick!
However, I am tempted to go read your post.
Estes

Ugh - horrible, horrible, horrible place.
You know, some WS and OP are at least naieve about what's going on in their lives - we can at least understand more about how they fell into this pit. But these people on these sites... willfull selfishness, blatant disrespect. My God. If I thought for .0001 second that my WW was of that kind of mindset, I'd be so long gone by now....

Well, I hadn't read her response so I went over there. I bet she's on fire now. I try to be nice but when you get personal, I can get ugly, too. (well, i was already *ugly* but you know what I mean )
I really think it's shameful for them to be so proud of cheating. I just have to wonder how old most of them are...they seem so immature and irresponsible.
(btw, what the heck is 'TOW'?)
[ February 16, 2002: Message edited by: diddallas ]

TOW is short for The Other Woman, the name of the web site gloryb.com which is set up to support OW. A few of our members, BS as well as WS, post over there, too. Evidentally it is not quite as hard-core as the sites you mention.
Estes

Interesting. Is there a Web site called TOM as well? If there isn't, there ought to be. It seems so appropriate--bearing in mind that "tom" is the first half of "tomcat."
